Not much of a prospect now 4 from safety. Who in their right mind would want the challenge?
2  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Relegation Watch 20/21 on: February 21, 2021, 14:02:44 pm
I think a change of keeper for the next two games and we're in with a chance. The current guy looks like he's actively trying to get us relegated. Isn't he on loan too?
3  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Rochdale (a) on: November 24, 2020, 18:21:23 pm
Why take Chuck out when he played well? Why change a winning team, he always changes it every single game, no wonder we can't string a couple of wins together.
4  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Portsmouth away 27.10.20 on: October 27, 2020, 20:37:57 pm
This is one for the radio with that line up. 3-0 Portsmouth unfortunately.
5  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Charlton Athletic (h) 24th October on: October 23, 2020, 22:00:35 pm
Please don't start Smith. I can't handle the hoofball and going 2-0 down before KC changes the team as the game is already over. But why oh why do I get the feeling he'll start.

Oh and if by chance he starts with the strongest team. Please oh please don't change it at half time and sit back in defence
Would have thought the countless times he did that in league 2 he would have learned.
6  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Plymouth Argyle (a) on: October 17, 2020, 15:54:34 pm
Rose is our most threatening player.
We really shouldn't be playing three at the back though, we arent good enough for that.

I'm sure he'll be good if we were playing the ball into his feet rather than at his head.
7  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Plymouth Argyle (a) on: October 17, 2020, 15:50:52 pm
We were free scoring in the cup game, where Ashley seal and Chuck got a couple each. Why not play them? It's not all about big names, rose is ok but you select the players that are scoring not the ones with goal droughts.
8  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: The P*sh (Saturday 10th October) on: October 10, 2020, 15:58:25 pm
This Is why I said we should play chuck, korboa and Ashley-seal upfront, they're hungry and we tend to actually play football like we saw on Tuesday. With Smith upfront we're lazy and tend to play hoofball.
9  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: The P*sh (Saturday 10th October) on: October 10, 2020, 14:14:27 pm
We've lost...what is his obsession with Smith. It's going to cost him his job soon.
10  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Summer 2020 Transfer Window on: October 09, 2020, 17:24:05 pm
And Smith to follow soon after? All managers have one blind spot and Smith seems to be KC's.
11  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: The P*sh (Saturday 10th October) on: October 09, 2020, 17:18:51 pm
Not sure how I feel about Mills playing in the back 3 but if it lets us play Adams and marshal on either wing I'm all for it. Just keep Mills happy by putting him on set pieces.
12  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: The P*sh (Saturday 10th October) on: October 08, 2020, 20:44:17 pm
Please just start with Chuck, Ashley-seal and Korboa upfront, they're hungry. I've seen enough of Smith this season, if he starts upfront we've lost the game.
13  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Bristol Rovers (a) Saturday 3 October 2020 - 1500hrs KO on: October 03, 2020, 16:46:35 pm
No shots on target for the second consecutive game. We need to stop with this lump it to a space and hope for the best, style of play.
14  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Bristol Rovers (a) Saturday 3 October 2020 - 1500hrs KO on: October 03, 2020, 16:18:44 pm
What did I say? Now make the changes now it's too late. When your bench is stronger than the starting 11 you know you're going to lose.
15  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Bristol Rovers (a) Saturday 3 October 2020 - 1500hrs KO on: October 03, 2020, 14:11:31 pm
Going for a loss, we'll go behind and KC will then bring on the players that should be starting when it's too late.
16  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Crowd trials on: September 22, 2020, 19:09:23 pm
No supporters within 6 months would mean the death of lower league football clubs. Unless we have a support package, teams like ours will be gone.
17  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Shrewsbury Town (a) Saturday 19 Sep 2020 - 1500hrs KO on: September 19, 2020, 17:59:50 pm
Ashley seal looks uninterested tbh, but I'm beginning to like Chucky and would start him ahead of seal.
18  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Bristol City (a) EFL Cup R2 - 16/09/20 on: September 16, 2020, 21:32:48 pm
Well good news is, that wasn't our first team, apart from the defence, it won't do their confidence much good.

RIP Macclesfield
20  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Milton Keynes (a) EFL Trophy on: September 08, 2020, 20:42:03 pm
Well that's brought us crashing down to earth. And now we'll have to play the youngsters in our first league game...
