Find out who can hit the ball the hardest, and just thump the f***er a la J. Dicks.
That was Ricos strategy and has not worked

One good early run and ball across to pick out Williams (who should have scored) and one run in the 2nd half aside pretty anonymous! Id have boateng in ahead of him every day of the week!
Kesh did okay when he came on too tho!

Excellent performance today, special mentions to diamond who was excellent, clearly carrying knocks but top rate, Phillips too excellent at right back.
Matt Taylor is such an enigma, I thought other than 1 free kick was truly shocking for 84 min, then produced a sublime cross for the pen, the penalty was quality in its dispatch. If he is on the pitch he should be taking them.
With him you have to take a large percentage of misplaced passes and non tackling, but he offers that 1 moment of magic that can win the game.
Fantastic 3 points tho!

Whatever - if we win the next 2 matches (fair chance) then we are nearly over the safety line. That is all that matters this season.
Exactly - What matters is getting to 51/52/53 points as quickly as possible - who cares how we do it and who we ebat to get there!

Indeed they do speak for themselves, as I've always said, we are much less likely to pick up points against the top ten than against the rest of the league, this was the case under Page and even more so now under JED.
What a massive contradiction as Oldham are bottom half!!!

But is it really? If Sheffield Utd lose their next 4 and Coventry City win their next 4, who would you rather we faced next?
Recent form usually takes into account the last 6 games and yes if sheff u did lose 4 to 6 in a row and Coventry won 4 to 6 in a row I would rather play sheff u!

The thing is, Sc***horpe aren't the 3rd best team in the division on current form, they and Charlton were the two worst teams ! I saw both our matches against Scunny and if you took Josh Morris out of the team they would be mid table at the best.
And this is where Cobbler78's theory falls down totally as recent form is a lot better indication to "easier" games than overall league position.

Easier is different to Easy.
I'm not wrong, the facts prove this.
Sc***horpe thought they had an "easier" game last night by your reckoning!!! Wimbledon blew your theory out the water, backed up by our result!

Of course there is. Barcelona or Dog and Duck XI, one match is easier than the other.
You're forgetting the varible once again - what if Barcelona put out an under 12 team? My money's on the Dog and Duck!

A lot of fans on here wanted JE to come here, would you like to say why? Because in my opinion he has been no improvement on Page!
You clearly wern't at the Bristol Rovers game!!!! What JE has served up has been far far better than Page (Possibly yesterday aside - and even then had we taken our first half chances could have been 3/4 up at half time). Had Page have stayed I very much doubt we would have won the games we have since (Coventry, Swindon etc). He had to go - You can't ask JE to turned water into wine over night - but it has been a marked improvement -It took Wilder 6/8 months to settle in and get his own team/way of playing across. Lets have a bit more patience people please!!!
