What part of it's wrong? Football is a hobby, something nice we've invented to while away the time before we die. If it's not fun (in this case because your team is losing a lot) what's wrong with things changing so that there's more chance of your team winning? The difference between League Two and the Conference is minimal in footballing terms, apart from that it's about money and as I've said before, if you're sensible with budgeting relegation doesn't need to mean going bust.
I've found at the fan-owned clubs I've been to at home and abroad, particularly the ones with terracing that the football is only part of the experience. Standing, singing, drinking and socialising are at least as important.
In England and at Sixfields there's more of an emphasis of being cemented to your seat and an almost obsessive concentration and analysis of what goes on.
A few cheap beers down you further down the pyramid and a good shoeing of the opposition and I best most fans wouldn't care.
That said we do have a terrific team right now and it would be a real shame to see it broken up.
