With the season now in the finishing straight which clubs do we want to exit division 1 and who do we want to replace them?
Promotion from div 1. I hope Portsmouth and Derby go up as we cannot compete with them at the moment and either Bolton or Barnsley to join them. Peterborough, Stevenage and Oxford can all stay down.
Relegated from div 1. Not surprisingly Carlisle are making a swift return, Fleetwood with their crooked owner in jail can join them and hopefully Reading with their financial issues. I am not too bothered who makes up the 4 but would prefer Burton and Cambridge to survive as local clubs but not sure both will as they are both very poor.
Relegated from the Championship. Rotherham coming back down but then 7 teams are within 4 points or 9 within 6 points. Sheffield Wednesday looked as thou they would be coming straight back down but are staging a recovery and Huddersfield, Birmingham, QPR, Stoke, Blackburn and Plymouth are all in danger. We have a decent record against Plymouth so them +1 other.
Promoted from div 2. I hope big spending Wrexham stay down as I don't like to see them rewarded with instant success and I was pleased Stockport didn't make it last season but they can come up this season, Mansfield are due a promotion but any team down to mid table still have a chance. MK can stay down and I would prefer any 2 from Crewe, AFC Wimbledon ,Walsall and Gillingham.
Pretty much agree with all of that, as you have pretty much sat on the fence, and covered all bases. However, dont be surprised if Watford enter the final day in a "must win" game.

You have got to be joking. 15. The Sixfields stadium freehold is with West Northamptonshire Council and the football club has a lease on the stadium site. Who would you regard as the key partner in any future fan-led infrastructure improvement approach?
The football club
thlocal authority
A private investor
Football influencers
All of the above in equal measure"Football influencers" as a key partner? What fcuking planet do these people live on? Just when I thought that they could not get any worse. And before the usual suspects chirp up with "the wording was nothing to do with us" dont bother. That hole is getting deeper and deeper.

Did anyone else see (or hear) the Chinook circling above Tabasco towers and the Billing Road, before landing at St Andrews at 16.00 this afternoon? Quick dust off and it was gone. Very impressive to see at such close range.

It's just my opinion given on the evidence I've witnessed so far. He may be far better than he has shown. It can go the other way of course, Adam Smith was fantastic in his first season (was that on loan?), not so good afterwards.
Adam Smith was never the same after his monumental airflap on live TV against the Mancs. Personally, I never felt that he was quite as good as HE felt that he was.

I maintain the council want rid of all the traditional traders so when their swanky new market is finished they can let the stalls to boutique style traders.
There's no way that job should take 18 months to complete. It's like the council have shunted them right out of the way for as long as possible to make sure they pop.
There was a lot of ground work to complete first though. Judging by the size of the ladders used, some of the new conduits and service wells are several meters deep. My biggest concern, is that the swanky new paving and flag stones, on the market and Abington Street, are going to have to be driven over by trucks and cranes, when the rebuild of the old Peacock Place/Market Walk commences. And dont forget the scaffolders. All scaffs will damage things. Guaranteed.

Wide open to computer malfunction, "teething problems", and subsequent legal action. Especially when you are dealing with huge sums of money. I notice that the Guardian computer (after asking me for money), informs me that I have read 47 of their articles in the last year. No I havent, I think that I would remember that. This insult alone is worthy of a small law suit.

That's awful and didn't realise it was that bad. Shame on the council and wouldn't be at all surprised if the new area is a white elephant.
I took a wander past the market today, and the new permanent stall/sheds are in place. There only appear to be about a dozen available though. Perhaps the intention was to run the number down all along? The new paving looks quite nice though, it will be interesting to see what its like upon completion. And when its done, along with the current Abington Street/Fish Street refurbs, no more St Crispins street fairs. As those massive rides were what ballsed up the block paving in the first place.

I hope he stays, he’s solid enough at league 1 level not to be a problem. We go into the season needing 2 new keepers and end up with a starter at a similar level to Moulden then that could almost single handily get us relegated.
The problem with Burge, is he is too injury prone. Your number one keeper should be an ever present, and your number two should not be someone that raises the pulse with back passes and crosses. There will be some solid keepers out of contract in June, of that I am sure.

Pleased with the 50 points already, should be safe but could do with one more win. Next season could be a long slog , minimum of 7 signings needed just to have half a chance of staying up next year.
Minimum of seven as you say. Two goalkeepers bumps that up a bit.

Blackpool manager says we can be dangerous on the break as we have good players at the top end of the pitch, perhaps he doesn't rate our defence.
Another roasting for Brough awaits.

I think several either know him or received personal emails from him...starting two years ago. It is either a very elaborate wind-up or some pub talk that didn't materialise to anything. Hope he is OK and not been castaway.
Im thinking that its too much trouble to go to for a wind up. I am also thinking that his claim that everybody working with him was doing it free of charge, may not be totally accurate. On a project of this size however, then people want a percentage in return, and that could be an issue. I do believe that he still reads this forum though, under another name. Its about time to come clean Thailand Tony. Over to you..
