As supporters we are lucky he didn't hit this form 3-4 years ago or else he'd be snapped up and we rarely seem to feel the cash benefit, although it is difficult to quantify. e.g. would we still have Leonard if we hadn't got the Chelsea money? Either way we don't want to lose him for £1m. Let's hope the owners are aligned if offers come in!
Chelsea money? Youve lost me mate.

That was clumsy wording on my part. I did get sent a vote.
I wasn't happy with the amount of time I was given to vote on it, and wanted better consultation on it.
Wow. Very clumsy of you. Im fuming even more now. Over and out.

With all due respect Melbourne, Terry, you have completely misunderstood the point I'm trying to make.
You both seem utterly incapable of separating the argument from the poster. At no point in my posts did I at any point defend the recent decisions of the Supporters' Trust, yet you've both elected to interpret my post as a defence of them and an attack against their critics. I'd appreciate your direction towards any points I've raised that have done this.
However, for the benefit of you both. I didn't agree with the decision for them to partner with Cilldara, and at the very least I would have liked a vote on it. I'd like them concentrate on some issues other than just the East Stand. In that respect, we're almost completely aligned, so I'm surprised at the hostility towards my post.
I've made these points before, but I don't feel the need to constantly bleat on about it as it achieves nothing.
I'll respond to your separate points in further posts.
You didnt get a vote either? I was fuming about that decision being taken without being informed or asked my opinion. That was what broke any faith that I had in this current board to represent its members. You carry on helping your dad out mate, you could have a long old morning.

Glad he is back in management and it's the club that is his spiritual home but after last time you do wonder if it's the right decision.
Its only the right choice, if he wants to have two Prem relegations on his CV.

I'm fairly dull so I will attempt to bore everybody.
Getting FACTS from the census leads a lot of people up the garden path, they take figures relating to large Administrative areas which are frequently named after the main town therein. The list of Cities that shows the population of Birkenhead actually relates to The Metropolitan Borough of The Wirral (as well as it being a town rather than a city).
I think the biggest distortion is Wigan which is around 100,000 but the Metropolitan Borough is, from memory, pushing half a million as it covers a huge area and several other towns. Some places, like MK and Peterborough have also extended their boundaries into the surrounding countryside which bumps up the figures, hence the "Welcome To Milton Keynes" sign by the side of a field on the way to Bedford.
Depending on which list you look at Northampton is somewhere between the 20 to the 24th largest City or town in England and very similar in size to Reading.
This means Beds argument about potential has some merit but that's another fairly boring story and what has this got to do with the game at Charlton being called off?
I am also fairly dull, and I was assured by a local a couple of years ago, that it is not "The Wirral" just Wirral.

Apparently he was told on the pitch at Tranmere how valued he was and he would be welcome back again and that swung it for him.
And then he read that days copy of the Daily Mail on the coach home..

A lot of people could have egg on their face if Danny Hylton comes back and shows us why we all got excited following his signing from Luton last summer. I get the impression some want him to fail and be gone regardless. I for one want to see the real Danny Hylton come to the party and Simpson for that matter. If they put the Cobblers shirt on I want to see them do well, like all the players that represent the club.
A lot of people cannot be blamed, if Hylton gives the impression that he would rather be elsewhere. Especially when he shows far more enthusiasm for his previous employer, than his current one.
