But he must be told by the management to take them all. The management (whoever it is) isn't doing the missing. I understand your fair point though. I wonder if a player has ever refused to take a free kick, or penalty for that matter.

But surely larger squads create competition for places on matchday(that's assuming that we have players who really want to play and not just take our money).
Lots of unhappy players unable to get any 1st team action----->bad vibe------>vibe spreads.

That picture of yours is terrible - makes me feel very uncomfortable.
Not too many more posts and Frank will evolve so don't worry too much. If the picture frightens you don't click on the little globe symbol under my name what ever you do! Do you use rubber gloves when you wash up? What about Westwood or Gregory as our new manager?

'So MOST people agree....!' Strange statement as EVERY person in our group of ten season ticket holders agree that Grimes is one of our most skillful players, as Swansea saw, BUT being played by JFH as a holding midfielder all season was wrong and negates his talent. Played left of a midfield group would give him the space and opportunity to use his talent to create chances (remember when we use to create them!). Foley, McWilliams or O'Toole should be the holding midfielders.
Doesn't matter where Grimes plays on the pitch in regard to the original question about dead balls/free kicks. He has taken almost all of them this season and has scored just one. Poor return. I am not expecting him to have got as many in the net as Matty Taylor but certainly more than one.

Go back to his first game.....a curveball bringing in George Smith to play left midfield....sets up the only goal of the game after 19 seconds. Played the next game (v Portsmouth, also a win), went off injured and barely got a look in again. Revell......disappeared with a mystery injury for a couple of months...... Hanley.....a good game at MK, then barely featured...... Regan Poole......what has he done wrong? He's obviously fit as he played for Wales U21's...but hasn't got near the team for months. The likes of Powell and Foley are in and out so much they're doing the hokey cokey. Hoskins.....bizarre to give him a new and long contract, then he disappears too!! Buchanan....played in the 3-1 win over Southend then gets dropped for almost four months!! Only to be brought back because "he's a fans favourite"!!! Bunney.....has a mare, Jimmy stands by him....then drops him!! Richards was another who was left out.....then made a brief comeback only to be shunted again! Rico captain, Buchs captain, Taylor captain, then Buchs again, then back to Taylor!
Then there's Matt Grimes...........the undroppable Grimes......
So many head scratching moments from Jimmy........
What about Kasim?

If I was crap at it, or if I was totally out of my depth then yes i'd expect to!! I'm a realist....and I don't think the world owes me a favour!
Can you say with certainty what is real in your relative reality? I have always wanted to ask a realist this question. Sorry for butting in to your polite conversation with Tony
