After all of the pre-match admin, providing your life history, creating bubbles, 'you have to sit in your allocated seat' etc., when we got in, the stewards just said "sit where you want". 
Bearing in mind the current guidance, I'm not sure about the effect achieved?
Their Chairman has since said that it is here to stay though?

Yes, as I chatted to you at the match,  a truly ridiculous system where tickets are now Match Permits. In fact I should have been in the "bubble" in N2 ...but chose to sit in N3 because there was someone I needed to talk to.
Apparently CUFC are now blaming the system for the very low attendance for their first home game and for the long delays in getting the pitiful number of home fans through the turnstiles.

Out-sourcing can go horribly wrong......not a match ticketing procedure to be recommended and hopefully not copied by other clubs

Can surely only be ROBERTS , by a country mile.

Oh and once again a free "good quality " match programme is a very nice touch.

Back from the match half hour ago.......if only we had had Liam Roberts in goal last season , no way would we have been relegated.

I liked Atkins too - suited us perfectly at the time.  He got lucky in particularly with Roy Hunter and then the two full backs he signed Frain and Clarkson. Pretty sure we played wing backs at Wembley?


No Luck involved there, Tony. Ian Atkins knew all about Frain & Clarkson from their Cup Winning times at Brum & Roy was also from the West Midlands out of WBA. They were winners ....unlike our current crew.

All 3 great blokes & top players. As for Ian ....just about as good as any Manager there has ever been at the Cobblers. Up there with Dave Bowen & Graham Carr. A pleasure to have known them.

Well at Half Time not too much damage done, with the other games going as draws....but we must keep the goals down ....I think GD will play apart at the final deadline.

Just hope the other teams don't improve..... can't see a comeback for us.

McWilliams....just ahead of quite a few in a well organised team effort.

A long hard watch in the second half but the Shrews were toothless in attack.

Playing them always make you think back to that special day at gay meadow.

In fact that's a double ....who'd have thought we had that in us this dreadful season.

Listening to their Commentary Team ,who were very fair in their assessments, and thought that we were well organised in defence, although not offering much up front.

RIP Lee Collins

A lovely bloke off the pitch and true leader on the pitch........just look at the outpouring of heartfelt love from ALL  his former clubs and tributes from Fans & Fellow Players alike.

I particularly like the photo of him with Tom Pope at the end of our game v the Vale doing the rounds on social media.

Always one of my favourites.

Oh well. At least we've got Barrow, Harrogate and Sutton to look forward to next season, if we're allowed to go and Barrow manage to stay up. Can't wait.😪

Agree with that & maybe The Dons will be relegated with us ....to make 4 new grounds. It didn't look much of a ground , sadly....but a better view of the pitch than Kingsmeadow. But at least we never lost there!
