Kind of suggests we are not a badly run club all things considered
Or, we are dying a slow death apparently? Maybe that's what is needed. Convince DB & KT to sp**k all their money away in a few years cos it'll be a wild ride. Or maybe it won't 🤔

I mean, we all know that Tom was aiming at the Trust with his ""offensive emails" post and being as he can't prove it, he shouldn't post it. We all know that mud sticks, so as a moderator, are you going to ask him to make it clear that he has no proof that the emails came from the Trust, or will he twist the words again?
I thought that it's been proven already that Tom said that they were offensive email 'addresses'. This was then backed up with a partial screen grab with some relevant detail (which I do know could have been doctored of course, but would doubt they have been personally). I can't see any reference from him that says that they were offensive emails, no matter whom the source.

I thought it was quite relevant when Random asked him how many times he'd been in the hospitality, so we could all know if he could back up his opinion, good or bad. Tom is very forthright with his views, which is his right, but he doesn't seem to like anyone challenging his view, or answering awkward questions
What if Tom had given an answer to this? Let's say he said "twice". What then? "When was that?" "What did you eat and drink?" "Who served you?" "What was the weather like?" We'll soon get some Cobblers fans calling out others as CINO's soon a la Trump with his view on anyone who's on his side but not on his team.

sorry Tom, please remind us of your last visit to Sixfields (sure some will see this as a cheap shot but this is a guy who lives 5000 miles away and is very very actively trying to take down a supporters Trust that has saved the club twice, whilst offering no action plan or what he would do next, all from a website that does not show his name and is now posting how great the club and staff are despite not experiencing it for at least 6 years) Glad you and your mum enjoyed it so much. Dear oh dear.

He was a very dodgy character. He got done for money laundering, didn't he? I think a lot of the financial problems around the stadium came because a lot of the business case was based around holding functions, wedding receptions and stuff but they built it without acknowledging a bylaw that forbade the sale of alcohol in the area (or were just expecting it to be overturned). Either way, they weren't allowed to and surprisingly no one was keen on holding anything there.
Just checked out whereabouts they are as a club now. Sadly they don't even use that stadium any more.

The first £2m for Wimbledon was crowdfunded by supporters, then a further £5m was raised via a bond issue which again was mainly taken up by supporters. Only a relatively small percentage of the £11m cost of the ground came from "businessmen", the main investor Nick Robertson put in around £2.5m for which he received a minority shareholding in the club. Worth remembering also that Wimbledon at the time were fan owned and Trust run therefore there was great momentum from the fans to see progress.
As I've mentioned before I was mightily impressed when I visited the ground as a "home fan" last season, the sheer numbers in the ground at the bars/food outlets and in the club an hour before kickoff was something i've not seen at any other club, it was akin to my one and only visit to Franklins Gardens where the fans seemed to want to "make a day of it"...... It was a totally different experience going back there (Plough Lane) a few weeks ago as an away fan though!
Suppose the point of this post is to show that it doesn't necessarily need a rich benefactor to get things done!
Ok, so does this bring us back to the idea of an Infastructure foundation that was mentioned on the redev thread probably a year (and about a quarter of a million posts) ago?

I will be cheering the lads on from Mexico today.
Wearing my shirt at the resort we are staying at, which has already prompted one response from a Yank as to whom I support.
Needless to say, my response was met with a blank look!

Just watched the video:
"Serious foul play A tackle or challenge that endangers the safety of an opponent or uses excessive force or brutality must be sanctioned as serious foul play.
Any player who lunges at an opponent in challenging for the ball from the front, from the side or from behind using one or both legs, with excessive force or endangers the safety of an opponent is guilty of serious foul play."
Ticks at least a couple of those boxes for me. It also looks as if Fox knew as soon as he'd done it as well.
Yet Chilwell's tackle just now on Jacob Ramsey used much more force but was given a yellow on the field, and VAR confirmed as ok.

I’m not so sure. He definitely went in two footed. So I think they will uphold it.
In a front on tackle, aside from doing the splits, I am not sure how you could do anything other then have both feet going in? I personally didn't think it was a two footed jump in, neither did he leave the floor with studs raised in a dangerous manner , so thought it was a pretty harsh one.
