Just watched the video:
"Serious foul play A tackle or challenge that endangers the safety of an opponent or uses excessive force or brutality must be sanctioned as serious foul play.
Any player who lunges at an opponent in challenging for the ball from the front, from the side or from behind using one or both legs, with excessive force or endangers the safety of an opponent is guilty of serious foul play."
Ticks at least a couple of those boxes for me. It also looks as if Fox knew as soon as he'd done it as well.
Yet Chilwell's tackle just now on Jacob Ramsey used much more force but was given a yellow on the field, and VAR confirmed as ok.

I’m not so sure. He definitely went in two footed. So I think they will uphold it.
In a front on tackle, aside from doing the splits, I am not sure how you could do anything other then have both feet going in? I personally didn't think it was a two footed jump in, neither did he leave the floor with studs raised in a dangerous manner , so thought it was a pretty harsh one.

Yet another hamstring injury , this time to Magloire . It makes you wonder if it is something to do with training methods because we have had an inordinate amount of non contact injuries .
Both the Fox and Magloire injuries happened in games. Not sure either of those could be attributed to training methods?

Hoskins goal was sheer class which gave me the impression it was a half volley.
?? You do know the difference between a volley, a half volley, and a strike from a ball that's rolling on the grass? Watch the highlights back, and then tell me what Sammy's was.

Have all the 125 celebrations finished? Maybe? There is one thing we need to clear up in this 125th year. We often have villain of the year an opposing player or manager, an ex player or even a former board member or manager. Let's pick the biggest Villain in our history... Go

Ok, so this isn't great reading, but we need to be careful here as this is from one side only. I would welcome the Trust response to all of these matters to allow me to form a more complete opinion. It's good to hear about the upgrade on the training facilities.

Many many times before we ever get to play this advanced club 'Peterborough united' again, one that you and others confusingly speak of as rivals to our sorry arses.. They are way better suited to Lincoln, Cambs united or Milton Keynes.
Maybe Brackley might entertain our rivalry less existence?.
If you care to check, you will find that I haven't posted any of my feelings around whom I consider to be our footballing rivals, for which this thread is all about, and for which you are trying (and failing) to hijack.

Our rivals are those that are similar in stature both geographically close to us and ones we have defeated and received beatings equally at each others hands... So the only possible answer to the posters question is our main rivals for the past 20 years are CDNL and their sycophantic followers that have destroyed our football clubs ability to challenge the likes of Coventry Luton Watford Posh Oxford etc.. Peterborough United, God bless them have shown us time and again how to pick our sorry arses off the floor but we haven't been able to escape CDNL... Hope that helps.
When do we play this CDNL you speak of, and what time is the kick off? Is it safe to say you will be watching from the hill?

I am a student at Loughborough University working in collaboration with the University of Massachusetts, to help research rivalries in the English Football League. The Know Rivalry project is seeking to learn more about the psychological, cultural and commercial effects of football rivalries in the UK.
The views of Northampton Town fans could be used to support the marketing and broadcasting of the club, especially in the build-up to games against rivals. Your views on other EFL clubs would be recognised and provide data on what games fans look forward to most.
As an AFC Wimbledon fan, I am pleased to have been given the task of collecting data on League 2 clubs this season and it would be greatly appreciated if you could share your views using the following link: umassamherst.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_3FdJ8eN2EgFCfCB?collID=10&grpID=1424
Feel free to ask any questions. Thanks, Jude.
If you read just a few pages of our saga that is the Redevelopment thread, you will see that we don't need external rivalry.

Caleb to Crawley …. good luck with that one . A bit of a climb down from Burnley which was rumoured , probably by his agent / dad .
Option to buy also. How the mighty seem to have fallen?? Other moves see Harry Smith join Exeter on loan from Leyton Orient and a welcome back to the EFL for Morgan Roberts, who has joined Swindon from Banbury.

Err, we could find out.
Absolutely this. You are only as good as your last game. Or, for those who'll say, "form is temporary, class is permanent" (re Hylton perhaps), how about taking things one game at a time rather than burdening him with the need to do well over 10-15 games.

1971Cobbler, you really are banging your head against the wall with Random, his last post he is actually shouting, his little brain can't comprehend that somebody has a different opinion to him. If you don't agree with him or his logic it is because you are pro KT and anti him / Trust and everybody else is as thick as. Just don't take it personally.
Hi tcobb, thanks for your view. I don't and won't take anything personally. Random asked for a response, and I have given him my opinion. Of course, my opinion means nothing in the grand scheme of things. I actually admire Random's passion and dedication to his view, even if I disagree in the main about its delivery to a wider audience, and whether this approach would work to the best effect. Anyway, tomorrow's another day, and Saturday is another game (even though a family get together means I can't be there). Plenty therefore to debate instead of this emotive topic. UTC

STILL WAITING FOR ONE POST FROM ANY OF YOU ANTI-ME AND ANTI-TRUST ON HOW YOU THINK THINGS WILL PLAY OUT - EITHER YOUR HEADS ARE SO BURIED IN THE SAND OR SO FAR UP KT'S ARSE THAT YOU ARE IN DENIAL
FWIW, this is my opinion of what I think will happen assuming that the ACV and Cilldara approaches are seen through to conclusion without changing the original WNC decision; CDNL / NTFC / KT & DB (delete as appropriate) will sell all of the unremediated land to Buckinghams without doing anything to it. As part of that sale agreement, Buckinghams will be tasked with finishing the East stand to the visuals presented, including the car park at the rear. I suspect; This will generate enough profit for KT and DB to clear their directors loan debts and make a small amount. They will then put the club on the market (not for £1 though, sorry). The East stand will be pretty basic. What I feel would help; For us supporters to embrace the Infrastructure Foundation ideas that the Trust has put forward to raise funding for improved internal fitting out of the East stand and other areas once KT and DB have departed. Stop fighting what you can't influence. Work towards being an influence on the immediate future once the landscape has changed. And no, I am not pro or con KT/DB or the Trust. I am just a supporter of NTFC.
