I immediately wondered about his availability. I thought he was excellent in the FL Trophy against Walsall. I'd definitely invite him to training and take it from there.
Did you see him against BR away? Rabbit in the headlights!

Perception is a dangerous thing!! I took the comments that potentially the Trust could be depriving the Club of 250k a year to be similarly "snidey"....... well not really!! Just the way people feel and read things. Views are too polarised!!
Its entirely possible that any revenue from any land could be used to pay down the debt to the Football Clubs biggest creditor...namely Belle-de-Jour, though in fairness it is also entirely possible that none of the revenue goes that way either.
There appears to be an unshakeable belief that this venture will achieve an annual 250K profit. Well done it all appears quite easy to achieve. Has anyone considered it actually might make a loss?

I was gutted to see Danny Rose go in goal ahead of Sammy. I suppose the thinking was that the chances of Danny Rose scoring a goal were sio slim, you might as well put him in goal.
I actually hadn't thought about this at the time. Why when you need to score a goal put a forward in goal?! I know given his record with us it was unlikely but it's still a very odd decision

Agee with that. When I went to the old Wembley in 1997 the place had an aura of magic and history. Watching my team walk out of the tunnel I had the feeling of all my childhood Christmases rolled into one. In 2013 the new Wembley felt like going to Stadium MK Also semi finals there, what’s that all about. Takes the prestige out making the final

Ideally you would have both. I look at all the times in recent years that we have been promoted, we've always had the big guy who can win headers. Gayle, Howard, Lee, Rico, Oliver if memory serves me correct. If you look at all the teams that have gone up I would bet there's a similar pattern. I don't think a L2 club can go up without them.
100 % agree. Louis has good feet but is hopeless in the air.

Good to hear Jim Rosenthal big us up on Talksport just now . I think he wanted to say something about the Bristol Rovers game but held back
He's often seen at Sixfields, does anybody know the connection? I thought he was an Oxford supporter

...is an absolute c**t! We discussed in Ulverston on Saturday about dishing out a Fatwa on him...though not being of a particular religion, I might struggle.
What about a fatlip?

The decision to give Roberts a one-year deal with no option is coming back to bite us. I think Manchester United might be a bit of a stretch but he’ll have no trouble in finding a decent League 1 or even a lower Championship club. It’s frustrating that regardless of which league we’re going to have to look to replace 2 key players but as others have said, that’s the nature of being a League 2 club.
It was him that wanted 1 year only

Horsfall apparently told someone at the awards evening that he definitely won't be here if we are still in League 2, and would prefer to be nearer his girlfriend in Halifax.
Also at the awards dinner... Roberts going higher than League One and Man Utd scouts at the Rochdale game watching him. Either way he won't be here next season

The clown still got us to the final. Bayo went on Soccer AM. Same rules for for all the team.
Not sure that's right Larry. Platt 5 goals in 37 apps Bayo 16 goals in 41 apps Bayo scored in the semi-final and was dropped in the final for Platt who by his own admission was still injured.
