1  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Relegation Watch on: Today at 19:01:09
We look shot with only one possible outcome this season UNLESS JFH can change his whole style of management overnight.
2  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Disappearing Punters? on: Today at 18:58:46
I think we'll see a seasons low on Tuesday. I'll be there but I don't really want to. Somehow we all need the summon up the enthusiasm.
3  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Rovrum (H) 17th March on: Today at 18:56:20
As bad as anything at Sixfields for a long time. Absolutely nothing about us AGAIN.mJFH is killing all hope I had of us surviving. No desire, no skill, no passion, no identity, nothing. Woeful, absolutely woeful. Rotherham didn't even have to get out of second gear. They lost to Rochdale and MK and then easily beat us. I think we all know where we are heading.
4  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Pish Tickets Easter Monday on: Today at 18:52:55
I bought mine yesterday. Not sure really sure I want them now. I can only see another spanking the way JFH has us going at the minute. It has the making of a very unpleasant afternoon.
5  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Season Ticket Prices Frozen - Again on: Today at 18:50:41
Sales may stall after today. If we go down I think I'll take a year off. It's not bringing me any joy.
6  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: JIMMY OUT! on: Today at 18:43:49
Agreed, Jimmy out!!

He's had time......he's had 38 games and won just 10.....he's had a transfer window and brought in a lot of players......

But we are as bad as ever. I defy anyone to say today was better than Edinburgh games, or better than Page games. Whats more there is no sign of improvement.

Same tactics, one up front and two strikers on the bench?? Moloney over Facey? Powell in from nowhere.....Bunney?? Don't effing start me on Bunney! Hilderberto in a holding midfield role? Hoskins? Why!!

I'm sorry....but boring, passionless football, ill disciplined players, lack of tactics, effort, skill, thought, energy, urgency, anything else you care to add, I just see nothing from JFH.

He blames the fans, he blames the refs, he blames the opposition, but he thinks he does no wrong, and that we're little old Northampton and are already punching above our weight.

Hasselblank out!!

Difficult to disagree with any of this. JFH fills me with zero confidence that he can get us out of the mess he has created.

Was going to get mine after work today but they closed at 5pm. I thought they stayed open until 7pm on a Thurs before a Sat home game?
8  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Pish Tickets Easter Monday on: March 14, 2018, 23:30:30 pm
No priority buying for season ticket holders seems strange, general sale straight away. It makes it easier if buying for a mix of season ticket holders and non I suppose.
As for the rivalry debate, it has wained over the years due to not playing each other often. I'm 43 and was brought up to hate them so they are still the main rivals for me. We need to put one over them finally, that will Stoke things up for next season providing they don't bloody go up.
9  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Rovrum (H) 17th March on: March 13, 2018, 23:40:32 pm
This game is massive. They won't want to lose 3 games in a week against teams in the bottom 5. We can't afford to lose this. We follow it up with a hard a game as they come v Shrews. I've got a bad feeling. JFH needs to set us up right. It's time he earned  his money. The crowd need to be up for it. People need to realise we are really in a relegation battle.
10  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Relegation Watch on: March 13, 2018, 23:36:40 pm
Terrible results for us tonight. I've a bad feeling about Satdee now. Rotherham can't lose 3 games in a week against teams in the bottom 5 surely??
11  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Best ever Cobblers side (in your lifetime) on: March 11, 2018, 22:46:56 pm

Did Slowe ever make an appearance? He's exempt if not. I was toying with Chris O'Donnell for his 45 minute appearance back in 1987. And I'dreplace Darren Harmon with Gary Deegan
12  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Welcome Kevin Luckassen on: March 10, 2018, 23:45:04 pm
Kevin Luckassen's luck is in.
13  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Relegation Watch on: March 10, 2018, 17:41:49 pm
A mixed bag of results today. Rochdale don't look dead and buried after all, Wimbledon are finding some wins. Oxford and Blackpool could be the fall guys. We need to get some points from the upcoming back-to-back home games but they are going to be very very tough. Rotherham have been flying so it will be interesting to see how they react to their shock defeat to Dale. They'll be thinking they can't lose to two relegation threatened teams and then there is Shrewsbury who have defied the critics all season. 4 points will be an excellent return. We really do need to find a win in at least one of them.

17  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Efl trophy semi final has a impact on cobblers on: March 06, 2018, 22:23:31 pm
That's a blow. It now means only 2 more 3pm Saturday home games remaining. This one now being a Tuesday night will mean a lower attendance as well as affecting people like Cordwainer 2 and their hospitality packages. I wonder when it will be re-scheduled for? With the Easter programme to come that rules out those 2 midweek slots unless we want a very short turnaround between fixtures.
I'm starting to get some negative vibes about our prospects at the moment with Rochdale winning tonight as well and this match potentially being played later. Um, a win at Rovers this weekend will ease that but I'm not confident about that either.
18  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Relegation Watch on: February 25, 2018, 21:31:00 pm
I'm feeling less positive after yesterday. I feel we need Van Veen fit asap. Teams around us still have at least one game in hand. It's going to the wire. Relegation would be a hammer blow, it really would.
19  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Oxford. on: February 20, 2018, 22:11:36 pm
Should be a healthy gate. Poxford have sold 1,300 so far. Would hope for over 6,500 pushing 7,000
20  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Players out on loan on: February 17, 2018, 18:26:15 pm
Banbury have reported that Lobjoit is out with a broken arm. Any updates on young Joe? Billy Waters finally scored a goal today for Cambridge.
