I admire your use of the words "likely" and "ought". #curtaintwitcher
Good point. People that hold views that harm others must be locked up.

Bangers, however much it offends you, there are people out there that hold a different opinion to yours. Dry your tears my friend.
If people hold views that are likely to harm others they ought to be locked up.

Great result for the Saints. I've been to the Gardens a few times and whilst I'm not a rugby fan you can't help thinking they do a lot of things better than the football. The atmosphere before a game is almost like a festival with plenty of food and drink stalls. You can even walk round the pitch before the game. There's a smattering of away supports with colours and scarves but no stupidity going on. Their status in rugby has to be good for the town and you often hear John B praising their results.

The not filling to capacity is a red herring. There are plenty of clubs in the Prem with long waiting lists for season tickets and yet they dont sell out every game. Why is that? It's because some games aren't that attractive and going through the hassle to get there just to sit in a corner doesn't appeal. A decent sized ground has more seats with good views and those will always sell.

First saw this block system on Oxfords Yellow site couple of years ago! Not sure if it was a good idea for them. Hope Dan keeps the interest enthused?
I think it's a technique used to prevent too much emphasis being put on the result or performance of one game.

It occurs to me that if I was as anti Hoskins as you are to me, you'd have something to complain about.
I'm not anti you at all and really enjoy reading the stats you post - even though you called me weird and I suspect that isn't combined with wonderful. I just like to point out when you have those little digs at Hoskins.

We are currently WDL 10 3 11 The two clubs in the bottom two play off positions are 12 7 5 and 13 4 7 so it's gojng to take an impressive second half to overhaul either of those. Weirdly Stevenage's 12 7 5 seems easier to overtake to me but they are both 10 points ahead.

You're getting mixed up with the posters on here, I don't give out stats for individual games, haven't for a long time, you need to address your posts to the people that do, Grange & West.
You give out many stats for individual games purely to criticise Sam Hoskins.

I guess for Marc it might come down to game time he's a starter for us and will be all season would he be in the championship possibly not and game time is all important
I guess it also helps we are not fighting relegation. I've heard that clubs prefer to loan to clubs higher on the divisions as the atmosphere is bound to be more positive.

A very distant memory. I can remember “where’s your famous Roker roar?” If I’m not mistaken we were on one side. I think it was the game where Eric Gates kicked the ball with one foot, missed it with the other and was awarded a dodgy penalty.
I thought it was behind a goal to the left but could easily be wrong. There was no roof?. I do remember they suddenly all cheered for no apparent reason and we put that down to the Roker Roar, rather than for winning a throw in.

McWilliams was absolutely shattered after the Oxford game (really noticeable in the last 15 minutes and I had him down as mom - only one on here when I last looked despite the sponsors giving it to him)
I can claim to have whispered his name for MoM. Like you, I was surprised he didn't get more votes as he basically ran the midfield, I wonder if there is reluctance to agree with the ignorant sponsors.

Interestingly, the 29,452 at Roker Park for the Cobblers in 88 was the highest attendance there for quite a few years before moving to the Stadium of Light...they even played against Newcastle United in that period!
I can claim to be one of that number Wasn't that the game they celebrated being Champions of division 3? Even though we claimed they were only there to see the Cobblers. I remember they paraded the cup around the pitch after the game but we were ushered out before it went ahead. I guess they were worried our lot would ruin it for them.
