Great result after a sluggish and shaky start. Thought that was Pinnock’s best game for us and Koiki had some wow moments (and a couple of oh no ones too!) Great to see Etete get off the mark in the league. It was noticeable how much confidence his goal gave the whole team and we started to really attack with venom. Kudos to Super Sam for deciding it was too easy to tap the ball into the gaping, empty net in front of him and chose to smash it in off the keeper instead. For funsies, obviously! Lovely, well worked goal for the Hors too with an even better, traditional handshake celebration from Pinnock to him in front of the Dave Bowen Stand. Would like to see us stick with the same XI on Saturday too but Lewis has a bit of work to do if he wants to stay in the side in that position off the striker come January. Up to 6th and that should make all of us smile a little bit for the next few days.

After promising to do so for quite a while, I actually listened to and enjoyed the 'Great Bath Tub...' edition. I have set it to download automatically each time a new one is released, so I will hopefully be a regular listener in the future. Thank you and well done... Thank you Deepcut. That is very kind of you to do and say.

New left back signing not even on the bench...
I thought he was more of a centre back than left back. I could be wrong of course. I'll be settling down in front of the TV in a bit to take in the delights of Sixfields thanks to ifollow and the international break. Come on Cobblers!

Personally, I've never been very good with computers and while I have attempted to use vpn's in the past for other, work related things, I've never found it easy to do.
I'm also too much of a goody two shoes to say I'm happy to find a work around. My point is that the 3pm blackout law is out of date having been created in the 1960's and should be rescinded.
There is no evidence that attendances would be affected negatively.
The biggest example is how it works in America for the NFL. Clubs (or franchises if you prefer) stream their own matches for a fee whilst also selling out their ridiculously large stadiums. Plus, their ticket prices are at least 3 times as much as we pay at Sixfields.
There are also examples in other entertainment sectors.
The rise of Netflix hasn't stopped people going to the cinema and Spotify hasn't stopped people from going to live music gigs.
As we have talked about so many times over the last 18 months, going to the football is about a lot more than just watching the game. It is an experience that can't be replicated through the tv screen.
I can understand the concerns people have about games in the middle of December against Stevenage on a Tuesday evening but I look at it another way. The clubs would be forced to think about their offering and up their game in order to attract fans. Again, this is something that has been talked about recently and has seemingly failed to get off the ground.
I appreciate that I am incredibly biased on this subject, being exiled as I am but I know it wouldn't affect my decision to attend the games that I can go to. If anything, it would allow the club to make more money out of my support than they have done for the last 15 years.

I think your wrong mate, a cold wet evening and you can stream the match the club would be lucky to get 1500 turn up at Sixseats, with probably twice as many again streaming it, although the revenue wouldn’t drop drastically the team would suffer with the lack of support.
Considering we’ve got close to 3000 season ticket holders I don’t think it would be that low. This takes me back to the clubs having to up their game in terms of what they offer outside of the actual football. It would be a win win. Get as many fans at Sixfields as possible while also picking up additional revenue from those who are exiled.

The reason you can't watch games on a Saturday at 3.00pm is they don't want the attendance to drop, which they would.
I disagree. People who can go to the games will still go. If clubs are worried that people would stay away, they should look at what it is they are offering outside of the 90 minute football match. Streaming of games would provide additional funds for the clubs as more people would pay to watch the games.

No games which kick off at 3pm on a Saturday are allowed to be shown on IFollow in the UK, the normal broadcasting restrictions apply again now. They were only lifted due to the Covid situation. No goals shown on Sky on Soccer Saturday, no live games at 3pm on the TV etc etc.....
Audio only in the UK for 3pm games, only international subscribers to IFollow can watch the games.
A completely outdated and old fashioned rule. I want to be able to watch my team and I’m happy to pay the club to do so.

He pulled his Achilles in training, stretching for a ball he had no right to reach, the week before the season started. Rico joked at the fans forum that Brady still thinks he is 25.
