He is the best manager to take NTFC forward.
Total respect for what he has achieved.
Total patience that we may need time to storm this division.
Charlie Goode's first game..... McWilliams shouting coaching at him.
Need I say more?
Patience & faith. We have flirted more with relegation from the league than promotion to level 2.

Hopefully Oxford won't go up so we can get our customary 6 points off them. Lovely to see Joey Barton's side getting hammered by Wycombe though!
Has Ainsworth come in fancy dress as Steerpike?
Why is this tit not behind bars? If someone ever needed their lights punching out whilst the police were looking the other way, it is this piece of dirt. Scum of the worst order.... s*** of the most effluent.... but. like others I could menton: honey-tongued, and able to fool the masses and divert their attention from their crimes..

McGeady is 34yrs winger Hunt is possibility only 20yrs midfielder Chambers is 34yrs central def Jacobs a possibility especially if Wigan go bust Ravel Morrison aged 27yrs - midfielder cant see KC entertaining this guy. Holohan Midfielder doubtful Kane Ferdinand - no chance Ex Cobblers who failed here Charlie Adams - Barnet, another Midfielder - doubtful Nolan Halifax - another mid fielder also doubtful
Interesting set of names too many wingers and midfielders not enough scorers let alone defenders.
Keep 'em coming tho'.
Old heads required at this level for us to gain stability. Playing 3-5-2 requires a flood of midfielders. If we finish next season above 17th, then, that is success. A couple of big names will come in.... the type of names you think "why did they sign for us?" But most will be players that you have never heard of (and wished you did, once they play). My sources? Usually Mayonnaise-based......

I predicted 17th at the start of the season, anywhere between mid table (12th) and 17th. Don’t get me wrong I hope we pinch 3rd spot or even a play off place but it’s just not going to happen, I do however feel the squad a Curles disposal is good enough for a promotion place.
and.... how was it for you?

True I think he has 12 months left on his contrct and needs locking down. Whether or not he goes on full season loan depends on us going up. Also at the moment, he's behind Rayhaan Tulloch in the pecking order. There is interest from Rangers for him. If Tulloch stays and we go up I can see Morton going back out on season's loan. Anything else and I see us loaning Morton but with a Christmas window review. I'm not idk or anything it's just .what I may think will happen. I do know the club's very pleased with his progress on the loan so we'll see what happens
Maybe the best option is for him to be on loan with us until Christmas? If he sets L1 alight like he did L2, then maybe you may need him back. If not, then, he can stay and maybe he can be chasing a L1 promotion medal with us.... Do you have a solid defensive-midfielder that we can sign/borrow? That is something that we will really miss after letting McCormack go.....

Chambers to return to finish his career, as Ipswich are looking for a replacement Championship-level central defender.
Jacobs to pop back on loan (or permanent), as Wigan are up the spout.
A random signing of McGeady from Sunderland, so that we are over-blessed with wide players.
A mad signing of Ravell Morrison on loan from Sheffield United. (he is not mad.... and he is real quality. He needs a manager that will take his time with him. A perfect match with Curley-Cobblers).
Sheffield Weds prospect on loan.... Hunt.
Non-league prospects..... Holohan from Hartlepool (like for like with Warburton). Reprise of Kane Ferdinand. Adams from Barnet. Plus... top-tip.... Nolan from Halifax.
You heard it here, first.
That is, aside from my predictions of the success under Curle. Eat my sh(ee)t, you message-board tw@ts.

Ah I see Truth be told I don't often hang aroind our board as I leave it post match in the pub. I do like to see our player do well at other clubs and sometimes you can find some really friendly Messageboards Callum Morton is destined for higher things in another year or two. He still needs to learn a few things about football, and needs to become physically stronger. He has done really well for us in L2, when surrounded by players that can easily play at the level above. Can he do it when he is an equal at L1? He needs to stay with us for another season... then, you will have a polished diamond on your hands. Boing-Boing!

We can see from hairstyles who from which club wants a move, regardless of result. (See me, on TV, aren't I brilliant?)
We will turn them over at their place.
Watson to the bench, and Pollock to start. (Watson is on way too much money).
Get McCormac across the pitch more and in their ears, to tell them how crap they are. Pollock can do the hard work, tackling and driving forward.
Goode? Does he have the nerve for it? Brilliant though he is, a Play-off game is not his forte. Give Sampson or Warburton or Curle a game in the heart of the defence. The one thing we lack is a battle-hardened centre-back. (With respect, the only thing I have been critiacl of, regarding the team).
We miss Hoskins. He is 2 players in one.
So, let them play tippy-tappy. Let them think they can be "expansive". But, lets rip their hearts out.......
Well, I was a bit right. Am I so glad that Watson decided to play for a new contract, and Goode hid his nerves. Wembley needs the same performance and more. Exeter have more nouse than Cheltenham. But, we can turn them over!
