With Shrrring injured for a few weeks more of a chance we will keep him till the end of the season

And therefore he leaves us on a free...

Rather we try and tie him down now whilst he's injured!

Again, anyone from the trust board of directors, please be open & transparent to all your members & email us the 7 page letter received from the club last July. Many thanks.

As the club have stated "We give you full permission to publish this letter to your members."

First one, Newcastle wanted him to go higher up if possible but he’s enjoying it here

Good to hear. Bloomin' prem clubs thinking they know what's best!  Grin

On another matter, after signing Armstrong from Harrogate, looks like Carlisle are spending that American money pretty well, another good signing for them...

Bradford on the other hand, have signed our old Sam Walker as his replacement!

Big club and all that  Grin

After a bit of pushback from the player, he may well be coming back…

Cheers for the update as ever...

"pushback from the player" as in he wants to remain with us or he thought he had bigger clubs elsewhere interested which haven't materialised?
125  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: January 2024 Transfer Window on: January 11, 2024, 10:41:27 am
Has Thompson been recalled? No, well not yet. So why Burge starting then? What new keeper?
Getting ahead of yourself there...classic Strawman argument!

The Thompson loan ended after the Cheltenham game...

ntfclad has hinted a new keeper incoming...and Burge ain't leaving

Keep up!  Wink

Time's a ticking if we need to bring in a new keeper for Saturday...

Burge I guess will start, with the new keeper on the bench, as Dadge is now out on loan...

Instead of sulking & ranting in here, if any trust board member wants to apply, they can ffs!!!

You can then feedback & gage opinions from your members as your so good at doing that!  Roll Eyes

Did that 7 page document the club sent to the trust in July 2023 (that Tom mentioned in the interview) ever get shared with the trust members as the club said they were free to do so?

Can't remember being sent it  Huh?

Oooohhhh, I do love a winger!

Northampton Town have appeared to win the race to sign Carmarthen Town top goalscorer Noah Daley.

The Welshman has scored 10 goals in 15 games with the left winger attracting a lot of interest across the border.

Accrington Stanley were also interested too.

Anything in this twitter rumour ntfclad?

At this stage, none of us really know what this will entail. As one of the invitees, we have wrangled a bit in the background about what our best response to it should be. Clearly we want to be involved in anything that is collaborative. And leads to better communication between the club and the support. We have not responded to the club or Tom yet. But we have agreed to attend the initial meetings and discover the format, and intentions of its use. Then we will feedback to our members Grin and look at how and who is best to be involved. I can assure you. There are always questions to be asked. But firstly, before we commit solidly, we need to know what status this advisory group holds, before we jump in with both feet.

Ahhh, what a refreshing change from some other organisations, who don't have the slightest bit of respect for their members points of view!  Wink

Lincoln have won the race to sign Joe Taylor on loan from Luton for second part of the season...

No idea if we were interested but he does fit the type of player who would suit out style (non stop running/pressing striker)

133  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Ivan Toney on: January 05, 2024, 11:55:22 am
Afternoon. Apparently Brentford have said Ivan Toney’s transfer fee at £100,000,000. Does anyone know if we will get any kind of cut from that as he went through our academy? I know we won’t get any kind of proper sell on clause money. Even 0.25% would be nice!!

We get sweet fa thanks to Cardoza trying to make a quick buck!  Angry

The scum would get 30 million (30% sell on) & Newcastle 10 million (10% sell) those figures are probably inflated but nevertheless, both will get a tidy sum...

Fair play to Ivan, absolutely gutting for us though!

What's up with Appere too? Another "knock" that seems to last weeks/months...

Mentioned him earlier in this thread, would be nice if it was us...

Blimey, just shows what a tin pot league the Scottish Prem really is...

Blues youngster Tete Yengi has left Ipswich Town to join Scottish Premiership Livingston for an undisclosed fee.
138  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Cheltenham Town F C (H) on: December 30, 2023, 08:07:33 am
Thankfully, we don’t have another game for almost 2 weeks after this one….

Much improved Cheltenham will be tough opposition so we need to be on it from minute one.

139  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: January 2024 Transfer Window on: December 30, 2023, 00:23:12 am
Brady is working miracles with this current squad so will hopefully be backed by the owners during the January transfer window...he certainly deserves to be!

He's treating us to some of the best football we've seen in many a year...

Still re living that move & finish by Bowie  Grin

Lincoln, like many clubs, have lots of injuries atm with their main striker also getting sent off on Boxing Day...

No better time to play them imo
