Iím sorry, this season is over for me.

Iíd obviously like to see us get a win or draw, but if we lose I donít want it to be one or two nil.

I hope we get tonked 8 or 9 nil, something to get on the sport headlines and ruin the CVs of our loanees. Embarrass JFH into resigning.

Brilliant win last night. Great goals

Serious post.

This board has been dominated in recent weeks by one individual banging on about easier games to come and another droning on about how poor Sixfields is.

Itís got to the stage that itís difficult to read about anything else, apart from when there is a match on.

The mods have made a good decision by temporarily removing 50% of the problem, I would fully support action to remove the other 50%. These people are trolls, pure and simple, no matter how much they try and disguise the fact with paragraphs of ďanalysis.Ē

This morning I have seen my first daffodils in full bloom.

Have any other cobbs fans seen any other signs of Spring? Feel free to share your observations on this thread.

I tell you something for nothing - Iíd love the chance to clamber onto that Elise Christie. Can you imagine the pushback youíd get from her. Woof.

Feel free to add any Winter Olympics observations here.

I have recently noted that with increased **** use, the urge to urinate increases, even when I donít pass anything.

Has anyone else had experience of this, and do they have any tips on how to negate this whilst maintaining a frankly very high **** consumption?

Isnít Hilda still too fat to play 90 mins?

I predict a 0.2 win for Dale, weíll be too overconfident

Thanks Frank - we know you like biscuits!

Yes afternoon Frank!!

Anyone with any knowledge of Cobblers history knows that the original true Cobblers supporters come from the Kingsley/Kingsthorpe areas - hence our original nickname the "K Boys."

The rest of you should fck off and support Sileby, Dons or watch the rugby, you inbred utter wnkrs
12  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Bradford (Away) on: January 08, 2018, 13:32:37 pm
Comfortable 6-0 win for the Bantams.

Hilda starts and gets a straight red before the half hour mark. Facey has a shocker.

For those that donít agree, check out my Doncaster prediction.
13  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: January 2018 Transfer Rumours Thread on: January 04, 2018, 13:11:13 pm
Iíd spend a couple of hundred thousand on Bayo, just as an impact sub in the 85th minute

Dunno what everybody is complaining about with regards to the bickering and abuse? Iíve been posting on here for quite a while and havenít fell out or had a cross word with anyone. Mind you, it might be down to no one being bothered to read the inane drivel I keep spouting? Sorry Super

If I was forced to start a scrap, I would suggest you are self righteous and wet.
15  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Wigan Athletic (H) 01/01/18 on: December 31, 2017, 19:28:21 pm
Does anyone know how the transfer window works - can we expect to see 1 or 2 additions tomorrow or is it more likely to be for Southend?

Ha ha if we have anyone by Southend Iíll be surprised! Get a few unknowns in a week before the deadline, thatíll do fine
16  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Wigan Athletic (H) 01/01/18 on: December 31, 2017, 18:25:02 pm
My Aunt Maude is a medium (and well fit for an 80 year old - saw her stocking tops the other day when she was rendering down some pigs feet, nearly shot me bolt) and she says the score will be 8-0 tomorrow....

......but she canít see to which team.

Assuming itís Teyn thatís gonna really help our GD? Got to.

Im the least scary person on here😂
You are  correct, its fans that create the match day buzz but they are more likely to flock to a professional setting that allows and encourages them to join in with the singing and chanting and in doing so attract those that just like to be part of a real match day experience, something present day Sixfields badly lack.
Over the next 5 season we could easily and relatively cheaply fit out the east stand boxes/bar /restaurant  and build up a bank of terracing holding 3000 up behind the seats in the south stand  and a similar terracing at a later date behind the north.
Demand this of those who are currently shying away from the responsibility to do one bit at a time with the full support of the town to make it to work.
Unless we demand these improvements  of Thomas, nothing will ever happen.

Yes, I want to agree with you and I really would like a 12k ground. But I go to a lot of JPT games (due to my s***e life only really letting me go to evening games) and a large ground with no fans is the ultimate in depression.

It unfortunately is like buying sun cream before you see the weather forecast. If we stay in league 1 or flirt with better, it will work. When/if we go down, or flirt with worse, we are the new Darlington.

Beds, I very rarely reply to one of your posts because I am scared of you. But a bigger ground doesnít bring atmosphere - fans do.

I understand that the Chinese are literally spitting rice at this.

Alternatively I hear that they donít give a fAck because they now have a few million clean British pounds.
20  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Doncaster Rovers (A) 26th December on: December 26, 2017, 15:47:52 pm
A comfortable 3 or 4 goal win for Donny.

Our players will look lethargic and there will be some indiscipline in the second half, probably one, maybe two red cards for the Cobbs.

Our usual youngsters will have far too much to drink and several will be ejected from the ground. One will be arrested for something which we be reading about in the Chronicle for a few months.

The traffic past Leicester Forest East on the way home will be truly shocking and one of our travelling support will be involved in a minor shunt resulting in 18 months of email exchanges with various lawyers and insurance companies.

All in all very few of our fans will have enjoyed the day before returning to the endless drudgery of their pathetic jobs or another grinding week with their loveless families.

All coming true so far. Any p*ssed up kids there?
