My barcoded season ticket was scanned ok, the gentleman in front couldn't scan his.

I just love the self importance of people on this forum that seem to assume that everyone holds the same knowledge as they do.
You have to understand that alot of supporters wouldn't know what a QR code is.

Weirdly this is also the anewer I was given, but nothing has answered why the same seats can be sold twice, surely that's a ground safety issue.
4  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Ticket And Tannoy Issues on: July 31, 2022, 13:59:42 pm
I would have thought that any double booked seat victim would have informed the stewards. At the very least JSO must report the incident to the Club PDQ

I did inform a steward, but they weren't bothered. It wasn't just me who had this issue. As I've said, if the game had been a sellout the club could have sold 9000 seats in a 7600 sradium, and if someone was sat in your seat and didn't want to move you could be asked to leave the stadium for safety reasons, a bit like an overbooked flight but without the compensation.

Just a load of first world problems by the sound of it. If it's going to stop people coming to a game , it makes me wonder just what do they expect, apart from football .

I don’t think you fully understand the issue, the club are selling tickets for the same seat twice.

If this had been a sellout yesterday they would have had to eject one of us from the stadium as we weren't the only seats double sold.

It's all good saying all is good but what happens if your seat is double booked on a sellout game and the person in the seat refuses to leave the seat?
6  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: 2022/23 Season Opener H v Colchester United 30.07.22 on: July 31, 2022, 08:15:06 am
I can't really comment on the game as I'm still seething from missing the first 15 minutes, please see other topic.

All I have to say is don't think your seat is guaranteed if there is a sellout as the club sold tickets to already sold season ticket seats. Then the stewards weren't bothered and just left for us to sort out. What a shambles.

Wow, this is after a win , how bad was the match day experience then ? What else apart from not being able to listen to the chit chat on the tannoy and the ticket problem went wrong then ?

I missed the first 15 minutes trying to sort out the seating issue with the person who had been sold a ticket for my season ticket seat, if that's not enough to put a dampener on the day I don't know what is.
Oh and £3 for a small bottle of water is extortionate, it's not Harrods. If it doesn't get better during the season I'm not renewing and will be following non league.

I don't know what has happened during close season but everything has gone downhill, the whole matchday experience in s#@te.
9  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Ticket And Tannoy Issues on: July 30, 2022, 20:15:15 pm
To add to this, the north stand seat numbers are not even in order 😂 we’ve randomly got 101 for example among our seats numbered 42-48 in row D. They’ve had all summer to sort that sort of thing, there’s just no excuse for that.

At least it wasn't room 101
10  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Ticket And Tannoy Issues on: July 30, 2022, 18:05:59 pm
So, no tannoy working in at least the North Stand, not really a massive issue.

The bigger issue is the tickets were sold for my season ticket seat, and others too. How can this happen? Imagine if it had been a sellout.

Because on paper there's no other alternative to support that's better.
A case of better the devil you know than the devil you don't.

Why wouldn't you want to play for Roth Raivers?

Did any of the anti NTFC trust group see the most recent interview with Jake Sharp and cdnl/Thomas?
What did you make of it?
What part of cdnl/Thomas answers to straight forward questions made you feel we are better off with cdnl than moving forward with a NTFC supporters trust led future?

I just dont understand the loyalty and belief shown to CDNL/thomas after their poor performance these past 7 years..

Surely it's now time for change..

Time for a change to what exactly?

Horsfall to Stockport confirmed.

Having wasted several years failing to deliver a modest refurb of the unfinished east stand, it's unlikely he'll get much grace and favour from an already pee'd off council.

He would be better off securing and cashing in the 17 acres, getting gone without touching the east stand redevelopment..
leaving the running track with Northampton and its football club.
I can't see him digging in and damaging our football clubs progression any further.

Except that CDNL hold the lease, so keeping Kelvin Thomas at arms length will be impossible.
18  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Redevelopment Closer Than Ever? on: June 22, 2022, 20:16:27 pm
I believe Thomas will be kept at arms length from decisions regarding this.
So things should be OK.  Cool

The fact that there is a sitting tennant with a long lease means Thomas will be more involved than you think.

The only problem in any business dealings at the moment is that we are heading for a recession and that £500000 could well be £50000

I wonder how the high fuel costs will affect the transfer market?
