Pretty sure I went to a freezing cold friday night game at stockport in the old 4th division in the early 1980s. Wrexham I'm sure others will recall as a complete s***hole when we went there at the end of the Carr season in 1986.
(Got curious about the friday night game looks like it was 6th March 1981 and we won 2-1)

There was an in depth interview with him in the programme versus Derby County.
Pointing me to a resource I dont have is all a bit pointless. Will he be back this season?

I can't find it, but I recall someone talking about the Sky TV deal and there being a pretty big difference in TV revenue between L2 and L1 starting next year. This alone is a good reason to be pleased about being in L1. Its not JUST about home attendances.

It would be a pity if they can't cut the ribbon on the 30th May 2025, making it a lucky 13th anniversary of this thread.
We should have a competition on the naming. The Cardozy Carbuncle East gets my vote.
Can we please lock this thread on completion.

Someone had a prediction thread going near the start of the season. Can anyone link it I'd like to see how well its turned out. I know I was wrong on 2 things (probably). I didnt think Sammy Hoskins would be top scorer and I thought we'd finish above Stevenage. 65 points is what we'd need to do that. Plus they lost their remaining games. And noone is getting close to Sam.

Sherring - must keep if an offer can be agreed upon Moore - keep he's pretty steady at the back, still getting back to his best. Still 1-2 more decent seasons left in him McWilliams - keep but a question mark over fitness/injury at the moment Willis - keep before current injury was settling down and improving every game Fox - must keep, still not back to his best but love it seeing him get forward Appere - must keep, when fit his workrate really gives us something noone else does AK must keep if we think he can get past his injury
These are surplus to requirements Hylton Burge Abimbola Ryan Haynes
We are still going to need a fit defence, someone to replace Leonard and a goal scorer.

I am getting a very warm and pleasant feeling about this game, reckon another win is in the offing, 1-2.
On a separate note I haven’t been able to get ifollow working on me big telly. Watching through the clubs website and a HDMI lead connected to the old Kenbak-1 has sorted that. Thanks to the anonymous fellow supporter friend and ifollow aficionado for the top tip. Now if I can only stop the infamous 2am buffering blues I’m sorted.
To those “supporters” that are going, enjoy your lovely day out.
Try using google chrome and "cast" under the view menu. Not sure the Kenbak-1 will run chrome though

Isn't there a set % of capacity that has to be offered? I'm assuming we have that and no more. "The EFL – Championship, League One and League Two — works on a similar basis. Home clubs in the three divisions must make provision for 2,000 visiting supporters or, if the stadium holds fewer than 20,000 fans, 10 per cent of their stadium capacity." from here... https://theathletic.com/4071358/2023/01/09/fa-cup-away-end-allocations-calculated/Capacity of their ground is 15314 so our allocation would have to be 1531 as a minimum. We actually had 1687 allocated, which is s*** but its more than they could have given us. We could limit them to 780 next year, teach the f***ers

Oglethorpe is always talking about squeaky bum time but the amount of our games that finish by the odd goal, I reckon it would be easier to talk about when it isn't squeaky bum time.
Saturday 90+5 mins I said to my mate. "Amazing I cant remember the last time we had 2 minutes left in the game and we are safe".

Benji scored the winner at London Road, Wakely Gage was playing for the poo and Noel Cantwell was the manager. I seem to remember a couple of songs about them, but I can’t remember how they went.
It was to the tune of a christmas carol if that helps jog your memory Noel, Noel .... I cant remember the exact words but they are not ones you'd whisper to your best girl that's for sure
