I don't know why you mention FGR. As seems fashionable at the moment individuals with a large amount of money (as opposed to mega) seem to like to take clubs with a small supporter base up the leagues. What happens to the team or the ground when their sugar daddy no longer pours the cash in who knows?
As regards Sixfields it is obviously tired and tatty around the edges which is probably what you want to hear.
Much like TFMH I am sitting on the fence but until progress is made regarding the East Stand I would hardly expect the owners to be splashing the cash around except for the absolute essentials.
The Rushden and Diamonds effect? I said on twitter that FGR will get so far then disappear. Loads of pelters!

After a weekend in Stroud, Nailsworth and Gloucester, I'm certainly not venturing down to Newport! Will be the first time I've missed a Cobblers game at Rodney Parade to be fair! Yes, Tiny Rebel Bar (large not tiny!) has been a welcome addition to Newport. The Ram just down from the station has gone downhill, but the Pen & Wig around the corner still great, last time I was there.
Yes pity it's not a Saturday. My next big one will be Tranmere away, but that's one to discuss nearer the time. Newport will be tough but a good time of year to play them, although not as good a time as the original fixture. Anyone know why they didn't just switch the H and A game dates around?

The reason is a lot more boring, I have been easing myself back in to things and thought, low crowd, half price this was a good game to start with. will be at the Swindon game next month and various gigs as I get back to normal (before the inevitable winter kneejerk lockdown) I was very surprised how low the crowd was on Saturday and can't really see it being more than 3000 tonight so the chance to sit a couple of seats away from fellow fans was not one to miss, I mean we've hardly got the most healthy looking fans in the best of times have we?
And after 18 months... I can't remember my password for the ticket site!

Available for selection instead of Singcobb? He struggled a bit, he needed a couple of games to get back to match fitness. You can’t block Kelvin?
Are you twitter? If so can you follow me so I can have the satisfaction of blocking you? @Leicgpr11 On a serious note it will be interesting to see what attendances are like. Many people (me included) are not yet ready to be in amongst thousands of people shoulder to shoulder. I mean lets face it we never had the healthiest looking fans in the best of times did we?

Tone from the top, absent chairman with little to no interest, no marquee signing, apathy reigns.
Mods can we have a "block" option

That would be a bit of a shame in my opinion - I think there’s a player in there and it may come back to haunt us. If only it had been interest in BAS but I don’t think anyone would be stupid enough to take him off our hands.
I agree and having met him very briefly with my nephew, he's a decent sort of guy as well.

Fully agree with this, whether you believe KT or the Trust this bickering needs to stop, if the Trust aren't careful and don't play this right this could end up finishing them. I have been critical of the trusts actions, however, we need a Trust so this needs sorting out quickly.
Maybe start another organisation, a rival trust. In the mists of time didn't Sixfields Travel form out of disillusioned Trust Travel Club punters? Absurd? I reckon I've read worse on here

As someone who identifies as lgbtqia I have been wondering what symbol players could make in support of our community. I would like to see all our players either go down on both knees or just bend over. What they do with their fists is up to personal choice...

The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Piece on Northampton Town team of 2015/16 for Our Football League Magazine

Hi all, I'm doing a piece on the Cobblers team of 2015/16 for https://www.ourfootballleague.co.uk and I'm trying to do a bit of research. I'm actually a Carlisle fan and you did the double over us, giving one of the best away performances I've seen at Brunton Park in League Two, but I could do with some opinions from the fans. I'm looking for some thoughts on Chris Wilder, key players, defining moments of that season and anything extra anyone wants to add. Personally, I think it's the most complete team I've seen at this level. Many thanks and looking forward to going up against the Cobblers next season It's actually quite interesting thinking about our two Championship wins in the bottom division in my memory. They were both by an absolute street and a half 13 points in 2016 9 points in 1987 (although we were 20+ points clear mid-season!). That 2015/16 season has a long story attached to it. I'm sure many people on here will do it more justice than I can. But I went to several games that season Cambridge, Mansfield, Notts County thinking this could be the last time I see my team play. THE football story of 2016 wasn't Leicester winning the Premier League, it was Northampton Town winning League Two.

You’ve had plenty of opinions on this before ad well mate…
In terms of this topic. Anyone on either side of the fence who doesn’t take a serious look at their conduct, and lack of insight into what supporters want, is lost.
If nothing else comes out of this mess, at the very least both sides should look at why neither of them have even got near to catching the real feelings of the support.
I reckon lockdown has caused too many people to have too much time on their hands. ffs bang the two heads together (or is it now three heads with the New Hotel End wading in with a statement?) and get on with it. I want a team worth watching - we will see I want a decent chairman - we have don't we? I want a supporters body that represents all it's members - we have that don't we ? I want to support an exciting fan led project - yes again TNHE
