The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Details for #WeWantAnswers protest on Saturday

Well done to everyone involved in raising the profile of the current on going issues at our football club.
As someone who purchased a number of East Stand season tickets based on the product that was going to be on offer for me and the family I have waited a long time for a day like tomorrow, we have been let down badly to put it mildly.
I think we may be pleasantly surprised by the number of people who will participate in the protest but whatever happens people are starting to ask questions so the #WeWantAnswers has already achieved what it set out to do. The Oxford game will just reinforce it!!
Thanks again, see you tomorrow.

A very poor game low on quality and entertainment but hugely satisfying!!
Will be happy with more of the same in the coming weeks if we get the results, but thought we were very fortunate on this occasion.
Bayo and Robinson the stand out underachievers (again) whilst Carlisle had a very impressive debut and Silva provided a rare glimpse of quality in a game Where we never looked like scoring. Its a start, now hopefully we can put a few wins on the board.

Carlisle is the type of player we were all hoping to sign in the summer. A good, solid, experienced professional.
Lets hope it's not too late but it's what was desperately needed and we couldn't have wished for better.

Bayo scores a goal every other game, if you think we can get someone else better than that then good luck to you.
Bayo has chipped in with a few goals this season, but his overall play and in particular his ball retention has been way below what we have come to expect from him and he has created very little for the team as a whole. This cannot continue and a fresh approach is required, I think Parkin would be a very impressive acquisition if he is the JP. Also think CC and CH would be superb additions.

Jamille Matt, i suppose because some said he was good, all think he'll be good, i reckon it would be a poor signing, relatively inexperienced, not the right time to be signing this type of player.
I agree, an experienced head is whats needed in our current position, someone who can cope with the pressure that comes with a fight against relegation.

I thought he did ok and should have been in ahead of Young in recent games, but obviously turns out he was not in ABs plans.
Fingers crossed funds are being put towards a quality striker.

Yesterday was a huge step in the wrong direction unfortunately and collectively the team performance was awful.
After competing well in the previous games under AB a lot of the good work was undone on Saturday and we reverted to type and ultimately lost to an extremely poor Barnet side, the first realistically winnable home game for some weeks.
Why AB decided to play Bayo from the start was a mystery and highlighted the reason why he has been warming the bench in recent times, as he was totally ineffective. The presence of Bayo also appears to detract from the performance levels of Berahino and the partnership clearly isn't working.
AB's substitutions also leave something to be desired. I'm not a critic of Gilligan but to bring on a player who is clearly unfit and severely lacking game time at such an important period of the game was big error. It was a very negative move and continued to put us on the back foot!!
We now have a mountain to climb and will face much bigger obstacles than Barnet on our journey for survival and that concerns me. It's difficult to see where the next home win will come from but it's essential we give the lads our support until the death. Much easier said than done though.

A mate of mine who is a Leicester City STH reckons he is a good signing and is an excellent shot stopper.
I've been told the same, but a weak area to his game are his goal-kicks. Appears to be a very good signing and just the kind of expereince required.

If we had the little bits of luck that Southend had on saturday ,we would have won
No we wouldn't, they were far superior. I don't think Southend were a lucky side on Saturday.

AB got it wrong at the start of the second half today. We played in our own box for about 15 minutes and it was obvious to everyone in the ground that it was only going to be a matter of time before they scored yet we didn't try and change things or do anything about it.
It's all so painfully predictable you can see it happen before it unfolds. When was the last time we finished a game on the front foot?
I also agree, It worked against Shrewsbury (only just), but yesterday and with Southends attacking threat the outcome was inevitable. I'm not sure it's intentional but the approach for the second half of games does appear to be the "lets hang on to what we've got" mentality, and we are getting punished for it by the better teams. The other problem was the lack of options that AB had from the bench and this needs sorting, because their subs allowed them to push on a level at a crucial time of the game, and gave them added impetus. He can only do so much with a top heavy average squad though, but fingers crossed he can shift a few out soon to allow more freedom in the transfer market.
