I’m not surprised with us having Kabamba as our main Strike force who hasn’t done it anywhere previously was at do we expect. I’d be intrigued to see what the analysis did to show him as a quality signing. Etete is a young player learning his trade. Rose I think should be ok at this level but clear that he is not performing either. Where is Jon’s ‘Bums off seats football’. I’ve only seen it once this season! It’s going to be a hard season and I fear for Mr Brady

Agree with B&S again. Hoskins gave the ball away or lost it at least 10 times during the game, I gave up counting after that! He should have done much better with the through ball he was given and whilst he managed to finally keep the ball in play it was a lost opportunity. Having said that his corners seem better but his overall contribution and importantly his ability to make a pass are costing us.

Good win, showed good spirit. Flores and Hoskins liabilities! Pinnock better perf. Still struggling to create much in front goal. Kabamba header far too close to the keeper. But at end of season all that counts is the 3 pets

Playing ok, McWilliams and Sowerby doing well as are Guthrie and Horsfall. Hoskins wasteful again with a number of poor passes. Pinnock ok and good ball for the goal. Kabamba not holding the ball particularly well either. Would be happy to take the 1-0

Not convinced by Kabamba, he’s never scored at this level before. Don’t see him being strong in the air either. Only positive I’ve seen is that he’s fast and committed. Even Toggle Tim has identified we are lacking goals and the options are limited. Hope I’m proven wrong this eve.

Agree with Shoey. This is definitely not Bums off seats football, it’s better than Curle but only just. As already has been said, Brady’s comments delusional on that performance. Positives were Roberts, Horsfall and Guthrie. I don’t think it’s just the midfield that’s the issue, I don’t see Kabamba offering anything so it’s all on the shoulders of Rose and Etete. Rose could have scored yesterday but for the defender somewhat fortuitously nicking Hoskins cross away from him and he also won a fair few headers but they went straight to FGR players. Taking off Etete and Flores lost us the game I feel but we were never going to win it. Letting Smith go is now looking like a massive mistake by Brady. We will be lower mid table unless we start scoring goals and my arse looks like it will be remaining firmly in its seat for the season.

Talking to 3 Crawley fans back in the pub in Horsham, they felt 0-0 was about right. Very complimentary about Etete. But they did state that they were without their 3 best players yesterday, make me think that game was even more winnable if they had a weakened side.
