Well, after another almost 4 hour drive home yesterday and nothing on the pitch to excite I won’t be going on Wednesday and neither will my fellow Season Ticket holder. We were more up for it yesterday with Oliver and Anderson particularly prominent but Hoskins again did nothing, Cornell’s kicking was atrocious and I felt embarrassed by Goode’s antics at the end of the game.

I think any criticism of Arnold is unwarranted, he was offered no protection and prevented a further 2-3 goals. Saw him at Portsmouth and he played really well. Think Cornell would have done no better yesterday

I’ve seen nothing to suggest that Smith is able to control the ball at close quarters, he is effective from a whipped in cross but I expect more than this from a striker. It sounds as if any views we have will be largely academic for the remainder of this season if the injury is as bad as feared.

Williams is the more intelligent footballer but is not prolific. Oliver is not going to get many goals either and of course Smith has been a massive disappointment as demonstrated again yesterday. Fortunately we have had others chipping in from across the squad. Whilst Hoskins has also scored a few this season I still see no reason why we would want to retain his services beyond the Summer, he was absolutely hopeless yesterday, losing possession and failing to pass accurately on numerous occasions. Arnold was probably the only player to come out of the game with any credit at all!

I agree with Grange Park, this isn’t a footballing team, it does rely on set pieces and we have been fortunate over a few games. It could have been 8-0 today. We did no have a shot on target all game. Remember Crawley had only won twice in their last 20 and they passed the ball through us with ease, I’m not sure where Everbrite is coming from with they were playing a long ball to Palmer everyone of their goals was well executed. We had no threat, no game plan and no guile. Curle focussing on poor defending sums him up, he’s totally ignoring the fact that we created nothing which is why the football continues to be poor fare. Will wait to see what happens Sunday but I fear we will be handed a further defeat and will be heading for yet another mid table finish

Really enjoyable game yesterday, could see why Crewe have been up there but as a team we were more effective and scored two really good goals. I agree with Wadey, if they had taken their chances first half it could have been a different story but thanks to some good keeping, the woodwork and finishing we were in a good position. Williams goal was important, if they had scored the 5th it may have been a differ3nt result but 2nd half we marshalled the game and put some fantastic tackles in.

Agree with Wadey, central midfield did well, Smith had his best game and unlucky to not get a third. Cornell made some important saves but also almost gifted them an opportunity as well. Good to watch in parts but second half was a bit boring. Still another 3 points on the board. Just shows the difference when McCormack plays, good distribution and some fight and guile as well

Yes, apathy taking over.
Curle’s interview telling again.
Oglethorpe ‘so you’ve got a week to work on things, what will you concentrate on’
Curle ‘work’
Oglethorpe ‘ work on what exactlt’
Curle ‘ errrrrrr’

Glad I didn’t make the trip, we are turning into a joke with Clown Curle at the helm. Hope Kelvin is planning for next season now. We should agree to cancel his contract at Xmas if he’s still in charge into the New Year and knows he will be going it could be tricky for our league status

It’s been pretty poor all season, glad I missed today. However, looking forward to watching Horsham on Tuesday evening, actually enjoy the attacking play. Curle good learn something from watching them. Still he’ll be gone by the end of the season if not before. No way should he be getting a contract extension. Hoskins can go with him as well as Smith etc etc, going nowhere this season but the writing was on the wall even before a ball was kicked. All very silent from Everbrite I see!

Yet another soft long range shot for their 1st that Cornell was no where near! Thought Curle cost us the game again though and with his tactics just don’t see us going up. Looked comfortable at half time and started 2nd half brightly enough but big mistake to take off McWilliams, we lost control of mid field after that and with Williams taken off as well no closing down up top. Even at 2-0 we didn’t look convincing.

Thought we played professionally through the game. Defence played well just wish we had pressed more for further goals which is why I think some felt it was boring. Will travel to Stevenage with more confidence now

An enjoyable game. Agree about Bunney, much more effective further forward, still a liability at left back, he was AWOK for their goal. Hoskins scored a good goal but prior to that had produced little. Thought Waters did really well, some nice turns, strong on the ball and put in a good shift. Smith totally ineffective again, that worries me! Agree about their flank players that’s what you call pace and we have none of that in the team

Everbrite, as I said before the season started having watched some of the friendlies, I couldn’t see us scoring many goals and so it has come to pass. We didn’t play that well on Tuesday evening, we just got very lucky. Curle is far too negative, even the players post match were referring to a 0-0 result. I think he has signed aging players who are at the end of their careers and really fear this will be there Year we go out of the Lesgue, can see us getting anything from the next 2 home games and could be bottom by then!
