Evers, I think your optimism is misplaced! What I saw last night was a National League North side outplaying us down the wing and through midfield. Our passing was poor and overall game plan non existent. Strikers did nothing/ received no service for most of the second half. Brackley looked more effective when they had the ball. I fear for the team morale after the anticipated drubbing on Friday eve.

Just back home after that s***e performance, Hoskins continues to steal a living, i’ve Watched 2 friendlies and absolutely nothing to inspire from the front men, I’m sure Morias would be a better option alongside Williams. Adams anonymous for much of the game. Bonney at fault for the goal and was a liability 2nd half. No pace and more worryingly no structure, that has to come from the Manager!

Thought Bunny was very good yesterday although one mistake that could have proved costly, also put in a couple of good crosses, Williams did a lot of running, Hoskins continues to fluff his lines, excellent lay off from Warburton for him to produce a back pass of a shot. Cornell made a couple of good saves, thought we matched them at stages during the game. However, we still don’t look dangerous going forward, looking forward to Tuesday

Agree, when they scored their Penalty, Taylors head was down trudging back into position. No geeing up of teh players for the final push to get back into the game, surely thats the Captain's role? As for VV, thought he looked disinterested last week and more of teh same today, clearly he can find the net if we get the ball to him in a good position but he's no grafter e.g. compare with attidtude of Marquis when he was here

Everbrite I actually agree with your comments for a change! Facey has now had a couple of poor games, but I'm sure I recllect a better player than that, I can only think of him pushing forward once during the game, I woudl actually try one of the youngsters there, they performed adequately against Man U 11. Agree that perhaps Taylor needs to be dropped difficult that this may be. Hoskins, well whilst he won the penalty that was about it for me and perhaps one reasonable cross, aside from that just a lot of running around again, actually think Bunny would be a better option! I do feel fro Austin, he is still dealing with the poor players from the Page, Edinburgh and JFH reigns, for instance extending Hoskins contract but after that interview yesterday I' not convinced he can lead us out of teh mire and actually fear for our League status for the first time in many years.

After a long journey up from Sussex this AM I came away thinking that was by far the worst performance of the season, left at around the 85 minute mark and usually try to catch BBC Northampton for the first part of the journey home, often losing signal before Austin get interviewed. On this occasion I switched across to listening via the Internet and was left shaking my head at the stance Austin has taken over tehat performance. Complaining about the referee for their goals, it was our defending thats not up to scratch. He stated it was teh best 35 minutes of our season so far, it wasn't it was boring possession with no threat. No shots on target in the first half aside from their playing almost chipping their keeper. When he was questionned on how he intends to improve if I hear 'this and that and whatever' ever again it will be too soon. He sounds like he has no clue. I was initially lulled with some of the attractive passing earlier in the season but now think no Leadership, no strength in depth, Hoskins continues to run around a lot with no end product, Taylor clearly not a leader and taking no reasponsibility for his part in our predicament, Van Veen looking more disinterested by the week. He takes Foley off, I don't think we woudl have conceded again if he had remained on. Austin states the players are giving their all, well based on my 7 hour round trip for home games recently I really don't see anywhere near the same level of commitment from them. Oh and he also seems to have lost interest in 'he is going to score buckets of goals fro us Williams'. I coudl go on. Sammo seemed to sum up an accurate view of the game in his summary, Austin's view is coloured and until he moves into some sort of reality check I don't see any improvement soon.

, it was actually worse than last week! For 20 minutes or so last week we were competing, today, no spark, no passion no pride, abject lack of responsibility, devoid of any creativity and that of course was against a poor side at home! If JFH didn't hold back last week why do so this week. If he really believes that performance was anywhere near acceptable he is clearly the wrong person for the job. As for the side. Can't think of one player aside from Ingram (again) who came out of it with any credit. Hoskins just confirms he can't cut it (a short Revell, running around like a headless chicken), Waters not up to life in this Division, Powell should be nowhere near the first team, midfield (err what midfield). Really disappointing, Page and Edinburgh started the rot, JFH has been dealt some poor cards but he should not be defending that performance

Whilst it would be a risk to play them is it not more of a risk not to? Remember Leon almost rescued the game at QPR with his effort that was headed off the line and we were down to 10 men at the time.
