Exactly, but my old friend Neverbrite backing him to the hilt and it may well end up costing us our league status because we don't score enough goals.
622  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Time for Moyo on: April 18, 2014, 19:25:16 pm
It is a big risk but I just don't see what Sinclair adds to the team at the moment? Are we committed to signing him at the end of the season, I sincerely hope not
623  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Wycombe Wanderers (A) the most important game since 1993. on: April 18, 2014, 19:22:59 pm
So a couple of decent runs that end in now't warrant a place in the team, Connell did much much more Han Sinclair
624  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Wycombe Wanderers (A) the most important game since 1993. on: April 18, 2014, 17:53:53 pm
This is a good result if we beat Portsmouth, if we don't then it's an opportunity spurned
625  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Wycombe Wanderers (A) the most important game since 1993. on: April 18, 2014, 17:52:32 pm
When exactly was Sinclair hot?

Should have left Connell on IMO

626  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Mixed message on: April 06, 2014, 07:29:36 am
Sinclair looked disinterested again! Right to be substituted Connell did much more with his time on the pitch, massive win if only to keep us in with a shout.
627  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Care less on: April 01, 2014, 05:22:03 am
And that's exactly why we have to avoid going down, will we still go, yes we will but if we are down there 3 or 4 seasons then the support will drop away, one season might actually be exciting but there is a massive risk and it could involve the very existence of the football club!
628  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Accrington Stanley A the most important game since 1993. on: March 30, 2014, 12:37:32 pm
Everbrite, criticism can be constructive, you always have to have appositive stance when clearly there is nothing to be positive about! We have had opportunities to pull ourselves clear and have demonstrated ourselves not capable, it culminates with a 3-0 home defeat to fellow relegation candidates, what positives can you take from that? We go down, we will be out of the League for a long time I fear.
As I said last year the football was not good and we were lucky, the writing was on the wall then, most ignored it!
629  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Accrington Stanley A the most important game since 1993. on: March 29, 2014, 20:53:44 pm
It wouldn't be so bad if I felt we would bounce but I fear we will struggle next season too. Crowds down, budget cut and only one space to skim for with clubs fighting for that dosed with probably bigger budgets than us!
630  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Bury (H) on: March 29, 2014, 20:49:46 pm
Everbrite, head in the sand as usual, we have been crap for the last 5 games, this was not a one off. 95% of this is down to Boothroyd but Wilder has kept with a squad that is not scoring goals and not changed it. We are going down, nothing to be positive about and the people like you Everbrite who defended Boothroyd to the hilt are partly responsible!
631  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Bury (H) on: March 29, 2014, 15:53:09 pm
Was all set to go to this, glad I didn't not convinced about the team although Wilder has been constrained by the trash that Boothroyd left behind,MK fear thus will be us down unless we can turn it round in the 2nd half, just don't see who is going to get us some goals and Marquis re-signing just smacks of desperation.
632  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: AFC Wombles (H) 25 Mar on: March 25, 2014, 21:50:19 pm
Wilder has to go out and get a Striker, you cannot continue relying on mid field, lack of options has cost us 4 points in the last 4 games. We cannot rely on Portsmouth continuing to fail!
633  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Who to drop? on: March 19, 2014, 07:37:35 am
If we are prepared to cover the wages there have got go be players who can score goals out there. Not impressed by Sinclair and it would appear we were lining him up to be a Summer signing!
634  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Who to drop? on: March 18, 2014, 21:57:25 pm
Lose on Saturday and we will be back to favourites for the drop. Wilder needs to still bring in someone who can grab some goals. Unproven Spanish signing not good enough!
635  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Rochdale on: March 18, 2014, 21:02:58 pm
Well, he did nothing on Saturday, my mate who also came to game as a neutral thought he was totally anomynous.
636  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Rochdale on: March 18, 2014, 20:53:20 pm
Yes, not impressed by Sinclair, we lose tonight and things are looking mighty difficult again with a difficult away game on Saturday. He just doesn't look interested but maybe he is injured in which case he shouldn't be playing.

Those who were leaving Sixfields on Saturday happy with a point will hopefully one realise that was not a good result.
637  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Mansfield (H) on: March 15, 2014, 20:12:59 pm
Just back and frustrating game, we were really poor with our passes, play like that on Tuesday and we might be regretting not getting 3 points today. Not sure if Sinclair is unfit but seemed totally out of the game.
638  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: New Year Transfer News and Rumours on: January 30, 2014, 09:16:17 am
We still need to replace Bayo, but please not by bringing him back.
639  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Norris on: January 28, 2014, 21:08:25 pm
Well we won't know unless we try, he is worth a fee and if we have significant funds available we should at least try
640  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Norris on: January 28, 2014, 20:44:19 pm
We should make a bid! 2 in 2 for Daggers, out of contract at end of season, he is a great prospect, could help save us and might be worth more. We know he can score goals!
