It isn’t a clash of kits. That’s the problem...
Surely it's going to be difficult for the players to know for sure whether someone in their peripheral vision is one of theirs or not? Seems like a small thing but Keith & Co haven't given us enough to moan about in the last couple of weeks so this will have to do.

Terrific result that, as good as beating someone like a Pompey or Posh in terms of the standard of opposition. Well done lads, well done Keith. The best thing about that result is the twisted gnarled look on Joey Barton's face as he went down the tunnel.

I know they've got some money behind them but how the hell do a club like Fleetwood afford to have half a dozen full internationals in their side? Barton must be on a pretty penny too. Surely that's not sustainable, even with the money they have behind them.

A team with anything about them would have put three or four past us second half. Got away with that. 0-1 would have been an absolute robbery but disappointing we couldn't hold on for 10 more minutes, even with 10 men behind the ball.

Looked like a soft pen to me.
Unsure if it was for a handball by Horsfall or a tug by Bolger - either way, completely moronic one to give away considering that cross was not going to come to anything.

Good performance today, plenty of energy and confidence rose as the game went on. Caleb and Smith surprisingly effective as a combo. Burton absolutely hopeless but you can only beat what's in front of you.
There's been (understandable) negativity on here the last few weeks but there's some real, real dross in this division - genuinely think Burton, Swindon, Shrewsbury and Wigan are all worse sides than we are and to Keith's credit, we've managed to beat all of them, three of those on their own patch. If we keep doing the business against the sides down the bottom with us, we've got half a chance.

Decent first half but we need a second goal. Mitchell and/or Bolger look like they have a mistake leading to a Burton goal in them. Also need to get Holmes on the ball more. I said in the Plymouth match thread, before we re-signed him, that Ricky would be made to look ordinary in this team because he'd never get the ball into feet and would be expected to win an aerial challenge first before he could do anything with the ball. That's exactly what's happening at the moment.

Accrington are a blueprint for clubs like us. A side assembled for peanuts and they're absolutely nothing special - but they're hard workers, well organised, know their system inside out and they get the basics right.
That's literally all you need. If they survive this season - and it looks likely they will - then next season will be their fourth consecutive campaign at this level. That's something we haven't managed since the 1960s.

Oh and why are we completely incapable of defending set pieces? Have we not worked on them since Ryan Lowe basically said Plymouth were going to beat us by unpicking our zonal marking, and then they did just that?
