Sitting far too deep and showing these far too much respect. They're not a better team than we are and the home advantage isn't really the same without fans. Get at them FFS.

Fair play to Hoskins, he's been excellent today and deserved that. Unfortunately for him he's actually proven that he's much better down the right than down the middle. Grin

McWilliams always looks like a walking red card, needs to stop showing studs when he slides into tackles.

I think Edmondson is your man if you want someone to nick a goal! ask Hoskins. If you want someone to score a goal then he probably isn’t!

Well, that was awful and we were crap, but in glass-half-full mode, Crewe weren't much better and their defence look easy to get at. Need an actual centre forward on and we'll nick a goal.
69  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Home against the Railwaymen Saturday 20.03.21 on: March 20, 2021, 15:28:08 pm
Says everything about how dull this has been that they've spent the last couple of minutes running through their f***ing boot colours Roll Eyes

Well worth the point. Could have snatched three. s*** to watch but it worked.

Definite penalty that, just as much a penalty as Tuesday's wasn't.

Personally I hope Burton pump Posh and drop points elsewhere.

This lot are hopeless. Mighty fine effort from the three amigos at polishing a turd but there's neither the quality nor the fortitude in this group to compete. Incredible that we can play so well, create so much and yet still find a way to lose.
76  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Away at the MK Dons Saturday 20/02/21 on: February 20, 2021, 15:45:08 pm
Absolute crap from Jones, weak as f***.
77  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Away at the MK Dons Saturday 20/02/21 on: February 20, 2021, 15:42:26 pm
You could hear the audible frustration from the bench as that went in. They've had two chances and scored two goals. We just don't have enough quality in either box.

What's also interesting is hearing Brady barking instructions at set pieces on where he wants them to stand and even what order he wants them lined up in when attacking the ball. Clearly something they're putting a lot of work into and it's already paid off once today despite the inconsistency of our deliveries into the box.

Have to say I'm impressed by Brady and Co tactically so far, much less impressed by KC's crap team. Would like to see Brady get the chance to rebuild this squad in the summer and see what he can do at League Two level.

Make that twice. We look a threat every time we get a set piece and you can tell it's as a direct result of what this management team is doing. Superb stuff.

Miller on. We're going for this!
79  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Away at the MK Dons Saturday 20/02/21 on: February 20, 2021, 15:23:51 pm
He's understandably taken a bit of stick on here but credit where it's due, Edmondson has been superb since he's come on. Lots of energy in his pressing but in a calculated, measured way, as opposed to Hoskins' and Rose's headless chicken approach, which is resulting in us forcing errors and getting the ball back high up the pitch. He's also making some very good runs that are opening up space for others - including for Watson's goal.

You can tell those plastic wankers came out thinking all they had to do in this second half was turn up Grin Game well and truly on now.

Jones unlucky from the corner - we're actually going to score some goals under this management team.
