I can’t believe regardless of what some are saying now that Brady will get a ‘free pass’ to the end of the season if results don’t pick up. There’s a long time between now and then and saying he’s inherited Curle’s squad will soon wear thin. Managers take on struggling squads all the time and I’m sure Brady believes he can turn things around or he wouldn’t have touched the position with a barge pole. I’d like to see some examples of an interim taking charge with 20 games to go from a similar position, getting relegated and getting/keeping a full time role. There won’t be many, if any.

Its amazing to me how people will manipulate statistics to prove a pre-determined point or make them look better/worse. You can't switch between points and games when trying to compare performance. it should be:
24 points from 26 games....Brady 2 from 4 games or 24 points from 78 Points....Brady 2 from 12 points
Apologies if you assumed that was my intention, it certainly wasn’t and neither manager have produced stats to put on their CV. I’ll let Marvo do the stat manipulation.

hang on a minute .... they are Curle’s players that he had been working with and supposedly developing over the whole of his tenure! JB has had them nearly two weeks and didn’t choose any of them as his players to fit his philosophy . Give JB 26 games with some of his own players and then do your comparison .
It doesn't matter how the stats are spun and manipulated, neither KC or JB have good ones. Like it or not, JB isn't going to get "his own players", nor will any manager coming in any time soon. If JB didn't think they were he wouldn't have stepped into the role, you'd be on a hiding to nothing. I don't buy it that the current crop aren't capable of staying up. Like I said, hopefully we get that win and go on a run.

And to repeat ... plenty of Captain Cluelesses on here that have absolutely no alternatives to suggest in how to do things differently except errrrrr “ play Rose “ .... errrrr “ don’t bring on hoskins “ ..... err “ play 3 up front and see if they might get a goal and double their tally for the season” .... errr “ put rico on “ What exactly do you want the management team to do differently with this squad that is going to make a difference ? They are trying everything they can . They are playing the best team available in the pitch , installing confidence and creating chances . Was there anything you might have picked up doing your UEFA licences they have missed ? i will let you and the others have a little think and then put it on a postcard addressed to Sixfields .
Curle managed to scrape 24 points from 26 games....Brady 2 from 12....both comfortably taking us towards the drop. Something has to change because if it doesn't before the end of the season, we go down and keep Brady then they won't need to worry about opening the ground again. Can't see KT opening his cheque book again for anyone who isn't capable of keeping this team in league one. It's almost as though people are suggesting that Curle was over performing with the players he'd assembled if they are that bad! If the climate was different I'm sure Brady would have gone already. The biggest straw to cling to is that we muster a win, it massively boosts confidence and we go on a mini run.

The decent thing to do would be at least a 50% discount but it'll probably be a Cobblers mug and car sticker They'll need to do something worthwhile. The emotional attachment aside it shouldn't be viewed too differently than any other event you buy tickets for IMO, we're a business and not a charity. Not forgetting many who would have fallen on really hard times over the past year and may genuinely need the money. There's enough of this situation across football to set stringent guidelines to protect the fans interests. I've got over £600 tied up in concert/theatre/event tickets that keep getting shifted and no idea whether they'll take place at full capacity or otherwise. There must be billions of pounds sitting in agents accounts waiting for the logistical nightmare to unravel. The common theme with these is that you can cancel if you want to.

I'm worried that Jon Brady will appease the fans with entertaining football but ultimately we will get relegated, rather like Dean Austin.
If we lose every game playing like Barcelona ultimately I don't think he'll appease the fans any more than KC did. Saturday delivered arguably the most disappointing feeling of the season. 4 or 6 points from the next two will erase that and in a few weeks we can be talking about mid-table obscurity, the East stand and ST prices.

The next 6 days will tell us if Brady has a real shot. You can’t give it to someone who fails to muster a win in 5. Despite the known weaknesses of the players, we’ve had enough to win games this season. The football has improved (not difficult) and in theory he’ll have the benefit of the ‘new manager bounce’. I guess you could look back to Wilders start (from memory not amazing) and bringing a new face in will involve writing some bigger cheques. High pressure week ahead, assuming Brady wants it. He covered it yesterday but we’ve got to find that balance of playing sensibly if ahead, which hopefully doesn’t involve parking the bus as we know how that ends up.

Full, jumping, pulsating stadiums are finished for at least another season, maybe more.
Didn't that finish around 1989? The future is lateral flow testing and social distancing. I think mass gatherings in open spaces will be most difficult to work around, music festivals and concerts etc. Even the indoor ones are going to be a nightmare where they were booked up for 2020 and carried over. Can't see next season starting with grounds back to full capacity. Having said that, if we get relegated it may not be an issue.
