For me Appere is the best No.9 at the club. He has been improving after a Shakey start and whilst not as explosive as Simpson he is more consistent and we look better with him in the side.
I genuinely believe he will continue to improve before moving on to a higher level.

On Saturday Dyche played up front for Woking according to the BBC team sheet.
They did this when he was at Aldershot despite him playing CB. I think it might be lazy journalism because he came on as a striker for us.

Hamas have broken every cease fire, I don't know why people think it will make a difference.
The difference is if Israel wanted to genocide the Palestinians they could, they have the military power to do it. The Arab states attempted to wipe Israel off the map in the 6 day was and failed miserably. If they had the power they would kill the jews in an instant.

I don't think Putin has any interest in Kiev.
Russia now controls all of the natural resources, soon there will be peace and Russia will sit back happy with with their oil and gas and NATO can say it won because it saved 3/4 of Ukraine.

I took the opportunity to listen the Wigan commentary. God they took entitlement to a level that Oxford fans could only dream of. The sheer arrogance was laughable. They talked as if we were a plucky non-league side on their big day out in the cup They need reminding that we have : A. Never been non-league B. Never had the indignity of being rejected by the Scottish football league.

Some random ones but things that stick out in my memory, I appreciate these wont be on many other peoples lists :
John Johnson last minute winner from about 25 yards in front of the North stand (Lincoln or Grimsby maybe???)
Doumbe Own goal at Mansfield.
Ismael Demontagnac kicking Delle Ali and then protesting his Red card.
Bringing it back to 2-2 vs Bristol Rovers after being 2-0 down and singing about winning the league 2015.
Bauza Volley in front of the north stand (Torqauy or Shrewsbury)

I think budget constraints would mean any personnel change is going to be a twist, I would be too pragmatic to try and replace Hoskins or Pinnock tbh.
Simpson I would be happy to try as there hasn't been an end product so it posses far less of a risk.

My 2 pence
Replace Simpson Whether it is our style of play or him not settling with the squad it hasn't worked out and I personally would twist and gamble on another player.
Pinncock I seem to have a different view to most on Mitch, Whilst he had a slow start to the season he offers quality and maverick like moments of genius. There are a few games we have picked up points because of a moment Mitch has produced that not a single player in the squad could (Maybe Lenoard) Peterborough being one of them. You could argue without Mitch we would be in the relegation zone.
Thompson I also think Thompson has had some harsh treatment on this thread, although admittedly his kicking was Schoolboy against Portsmouth. At the start of the season I couldn't help but think how much higher we would have been had Burge been fit, but actually Burge has not covered himself in glory this season. He has had his own fair share of Clangers.
Priority for me would be
1. A credible attacking option to compete with Bowie, Hoskins and Pinnock. 2. Replace Simpson
Although if Leonard goes then replacing him would come above all else.

"Are you Sc***horpe in disguise" is hilarious.
Need to wake up in the 2nd half else this could be a cricket score.
Appere and Guthrie are sorely missed atm.

I am putting that down to a bad 35 mins at the office.
We looked shell shocked but grew into the first half, the second half was much better but we don't have the fire power to be going 2-0 to the better sides in the division.

Promising end to the half but there is an uphill struggle to get a point from here. An early goal for us could change the momentum of this game, an early goal for them could see this being 5, 6 or 7

In the 4 times we've lost 7 on the bounce, one time included an FA Cup tie, on a League Cup match, one a League Trophy match and the other was 7 league games.
Of course you don't include the Maunsel Cup or Friendlies, don't be ridiculous.
I don't know who you think you are but YOU don't get to decide what games count and what games don't.
The record for consecutive defeats in ALL competitions is 7, the record for League games only is 8.
Who knows the circumstances behind those games, perhaps they were meaningless end of season games, perhaps the manager was trying out a few youth players, it doesn't matter, they are in the record books, that's what matters. Do you think in 50 years time people are going to look at this seasons results and start speculating about team selection, injuries, budget or anything else? Of course not.
When we knocked Liverpool out of the League Cup, does it have a note beside the result saying Liverpool played a weakened side?
Out of interest are you including the southern league?

I know I am being extraordinarily naive and embarrassingly optimistic but I concur with Lizard and DC in hoping that Hylton will return from injury still being a decent footballer and able to contribute with a few goals
The way we are playing now would be a far better suited to Hyltons skill set that his last season. He could add that little bit of class that is needed for us to turn our posses ion into more clear cut chances

Exactly the game you would expect when you give Wycombe an early goal. A lack of fire power was are undoing but god how do Wycombe fans pay to watch that level of football. It is absolutely mind numbing anti football.

Apparently he puts mouch of his improved form down to the one to one coaching time he spends with Rico. Another Cobblers legend of course.
I messaged him before the start of last season saying it was a huge year for him and that he will go on to cement his name in Cobblers history. Personally I think that was the turning point.
