Interesting that we were at our best defensively without Buchs. Our fans were chanting for him to play when Bunney was playing.
Only because of how bad Bunney was, not how good Buchs is. Jimmy was rIght to look to replace buchs he just signed the wrong replacement.

Just a standing terrace running the full length in front of the carlsberg /tetley stand as asked for by club members 😉 You must've forgotten that😂
Not forgotten that at all and in fact I think the way their terracing is done makes it much better than a cheap looking concrete bank at each end.

Its about quality of ground and it working well for the club and not so biggest attendance. The saints will budget for say 14000 average gates in and all singing and dancing stadium with everything going for it.. thats what makes it one of the best club ground of any sport.
But it doesn't have a 3000 bank of terracing behind each goal so it must be tinpot.

Ah bless, confused again. Shock.
It's strange how? Surely Cobblers fans 'hope' to wallop the opposition every week?
The walloping is based on the amount of chances created in the last two home games and not because we are playing Tranmere.
As for Ollie Banks, he was pure gash for us so fair play if he's learnt how to be a midfielder since he's been with Tranmere.

I'll agree with you on this one, don't want to be too 'defeatist'.
Surely we must wallop someone soon if we take our chances. Tranmere is as good a team to do that against.

A bit of concern does't equate to defeatist.
Massive difference between the two.
Defeatist - a person who expects or is excessively ready to accept failure.
Concerned - worried, troubled, or anxious

It's not defeatist as there was the hope / expectation that this season could be a good one which only compounded the slow start. It's an accumulation of frustrations more than anything surely?

But it really is absolutely pathetic, isn’t it? Genuinely childish, steaming, hissy fits from grown men evey time we lose. Just embarrassing.
I guess you are right. Every club has it’s fair share of dickheads. It’s endemic of the modern demand for instant gratification I suppose but the sense of entitlement on display by so many, just makes me want to puke.
I think the fact the last two years have been so uninspiring has probably made things worse though. A bit of concern that we won't be able to turn it around.

I'll spell it out a bit clearer for you then, you really should change your name.
There is a lot of moaning when the Cobblers lose as fans are disappointed and look for reasons for the defeats. (replace Cobblers for any team in the country)
When we win the fans are happier. (again replace us for any team)
Yet people like you feel the need to take a positive result and performance and try and point score off anyone that had voiced annoyance instead of just enjoying it. Depressingly predictable.

Live on SKY Sports, BT and HE this month;
Glasto v Evers
Cob 78 v Everyone
Evers v Everyone
Everyone v Multi-marcthompson is
Everyone v Beds
Look who pops up twice, what a shock. The dimmest of them all. Is it bad that I miss Marvo's trolling as at least he used humour. (and good stats)

I certainly did not defend the people who wished (on here) to punch a minor. Please apologise and withdraw that accusation as its manifestly untrue. My stance on the issue which was common at the time was that your behaviour was unreasonable; you managed to unite this board in critizing your disruptive and disgraceful attitude. Another thing I find some of your comments indecipherable - please clarify your 2nd sentence and 2nd para. Thanks
There is a clear difference on those that said I handled the situation wrong - as I said myself - but that punching a minor was not acceptable. It wasn't about 'wishing' to punch either it was actual assault. You were wholly fixated on the standing issue again you have said I was disgraceful and disruptive whilst ignoring the worst aspect of the incident. Your choice completely but shows your priorities. I leave you to decipher the other comments as I really couldn't care less if you understand them or not.
