On the way back from the game on Saturday BBC Radio Northampton said they were on DAB Radio, got home and did a re tune on my DAB radio and there it was. Do they broadcast our matches on it?

There is a saying that despite better/fitter players ready to go, never change a winning side, by all means add them to the bench and if its going wrong throw them on as consistency and momentum are the key elements to a successful side I would've thought?

The Hotel End / Other Football & Sport / Non League Teams 2013/2014 Season

Don't know if anyone is interested in re-erecting this thread?
Pick a non league side or a local team that you keep an eye on or even watch.
My Home town team of Newport Pagnell started away at Peterborough North Star and lost 3-0, having a player sent off and from what I've read a very unhappy if not seething Manager in Darren Lynch!

As most of you know I'm battling depression, it's not a question of negativity it's a chemical imbalance where the brain sends messages to the rest of you and seratonum needs to flow, for a while last year mine was stalling and adding pressure around my brain which caused a minor swelling to my head so even more medication had to be taken. I'm regularly having scans and my medication is either lowered or increased depending on blood pressure. Since being diagnosed last October I'm recognising its a circular wave where you feel good for a long period of time but something said or done simply triggers a bad feeling within and the dark circles above start to move in on you for want of a better description and for me I get a feeling of disorientation and a feeling something has snapped within myself. I try to take something positive from each day but everyday there is a nagging feeling in the back of my head that sooner rather than later something will go wrong, it's like a dark shadow that stands behind me just waiting to get inside my head. Thankfully of late I'm on a good roll but it does scare me that without much of a warning I can lose control and not be able to leave the house as anxiety and panic attacks get the better of me. All I can say to you all, the second you or anyone you know starts to feel down or sad, get them into the Doctors because once depression starts to manifest inside you it will more than likely sit there dormant ready to tangle yourself up from within. I hate the fact I have to rely on medication to get me through the day but from my own experience stop taking the medication and you start a downward spiral within your thought process. Sorry it's a long winded reply but thought I would try and explain what I feel depression is from my wn point of view.

Barbara Clough, Wife of Brian and Mother of Nigel passed away in the week.
Not a death but the voice of Final Score is no more as James Alexander Gordon has had his larynx removed as he fights throat cancer, his voice isn't strong enough to carry on doing the scores, Saturdays will never be the same again.

Read a few tweets last night that Danny Murphy was spotted in a Northampton Hotel, however he was on Talk Sport yesterday so could be moving around the country doing various press interviews?

The Kettering local rag reports that Corby Boss Chris Plummer and Aidy had discussions about some of our players going out on loan to them, if we can't get players in how can we afford to let some out?
You do wonder if the team of last season is one of the better teams we will see for a few years as each generation sees a decent season say once a decade?
Grilling ham are having there team photo today, be interesting to see how ours will look? Would imagine it will be in the Chron next Thursday?
