Glad to see you back 78 and being pro active again? Incidentally, any chance of doing some predictions regarding a points total for this season? I really enjoyed all the banter last season.
75points, one of the easiest games of the season Saturday 4-0 I look forward to you getting behind this.

Saturday 22nd September Vs Notts County.
Who is up for assisting in bombarding social media and dragging friends/family along to this one as we surge towards to automatic promotion places? I’ll try to get the club/radio/chron involved again. It probably won’t really kick in until after tomorrow’s game.
I’d suggest the negative moaners (Let’s call them the GET IT FORWARD BRIGADE) start their own thread where they can tell each other how this won’t work and how it’s a waste of time, rather than drag a positive thread into a slanging match.

I thought Bridge was very good, Cornell excellent as a modern sweeper keeper but, and I didn't think I would ever say this, and lots on here will think I am mad, but I go for Hoskins for his constant effort and threat.
I hear what you’re saying re Hoskins, everyone is desperate for him to improve the final ball/shot......if he does, he won’t be with us for long.

What's frustrating, is whenever a team fancy a goal against us they just seemingly walk through the middle of the pitch and score. We're very easy to play against at the moment and teams know this.
Very true, hopefully O'Toole and McWilliams stiffen up the centre.

Nice to see Austin doesn't seem to know why the team is playing badly. They aren't playing badly, 1 bad performance in 4 league games.

A lot of negativity towards Austin which I find odd. We have been on top for 3 out of 4 games and everything being equal with chances scored compared to chances created we would be sat on 9 or 10 points from 4 games. The tactics are right, we are creating more chances than the opposition are, its not Austins fault that Crooks, Williams, Powell and Hoskins have between then missed 10 clear cut chances in 4 league games. Had those players taken their chances we would not be having this discussion.
That said, now Morais is fit, if he continues to play Williams rather than Morais questions might need to be asked. Similarly, the signing of Ward is an odd one, if he is no better than Cornell why not stick with Coddington as number 2? Also, if Hoskins continues to miss chances (which judging from the last 4 years he will) then surely Waters should be given a run in the team. Also, if Buchs continues to get a roasting at left back and Turnbull is not given a shot questions need to be asked.
4 league games is a very small sample, let's see where we are after 10 games, with McWilliams and O'Toole back fit, I'm fully expecting us to go on a good run and be top half after 10 games.

And, just a word on Hoskins, there are certain miserable c***s among our support who are willing him to fail. He put in a decent shift yesterday, yet a certain group near us still slaughtered everything he did. Pathetic.
These are probably the same “West Stand Belters” who contactly shout “FORWARD” when we are keeping good possession, passing the ball whilst the opposition use up their energy chasing shadows. So painful to listen to.

Change both fullbacks and bring Morais in for Williams. (Assuming McWilliams and JJOT are still not ready, no point rushing them back as Foley was our best player Saturday and doesn’t deserve to be dropped) Maybe get Waters in for Hoskins HT if he’s not performing.

Loose on Saturday and Deanos under some real pressure.
Jesus, here we go again. When will the penny drop? Give him a chance, I’ve been very impressed so far.

Apparently they paid £100k + for him. So I'm guessing the profit will be -£100k + He'll be there for 2 years, do nothing and move on to do the same at another club.
If he says fit and plays regularly for Posh, he will score 40+ in two seasons and they will sell him for a seven figure fee.

I realise I’m in a minority but I’d be very happy if JJOT and McWilliams were our central midfield pair for most games. I still think he’s better with the game in front of him and arriving late in the box. I’ve never felt he’s ‘dynamic’ enough for that number 10 role. I’ve even got a feelin his goal record per 90 minutes is better when he plays central midfield rather than the advanced role.
Now we have a Morais I’d expect Austin to play a front 2, don’t see him playing as a lone striker and I hope he’s not shunted to the wing a la Hoskins
100% agree, when JJOT plays further forward he is just used as the lump we aim long balls to, and he is better than that.

You're having a laugh with that guess! Cloud cuckoo land comes to mind
I’ve heard Crooks on £5k and Van Veen on £4K per week, so the figures quoted would agree with that. Who knows though, what I would say is they are two of our top earners....if not THE top two earners.

What channel is the HD version on Sky? Also, is it free or do you need the HD subscription to view in HD on Sky?

It'll be interesting to see who starts up front tomorrow, DA used Hoskins as a striker in the last few games last season and did pretty well. We probably didn't have many other options but he definitely proved he should be used up front and not on the wing.
Hi Sam, I think Billy Waters is better than you, you do try hard though.
