I think some people think that supporting a club means being vaguely interested in how they got on. Others think "supporting" a big club gives them more prestige?

Was speaking to one salford fan ( an oldham fan in 60s but changed to salford :s), he says the board are trying to move to sale rugby club.  They can't build any further on that ground because of the location.

I don't understand the concept of swapping support from one club to another.
