Nothing wrong with that!
I reckon the last time a centre forward shoulder charged a goalkeeper over the line and a goal was given was Mick Jones v Norman Coe at Bramall Lane in 1965.

Just got my copy of WSC and note the article "Cobbled Together". My initial pleasure at seeing an article about the Cobblers soon dissappeared when I read. It certainly was cobbled together. It seems we play in Burgundy and white and that Northamptn is a total Rugby town. It was written by someone called Alex Lines. Anyone know him?

Everything at Stadium MK is there because they had a supportive council while we had to put up with a succession of total idiots of all political hues - I doubt Winkleman put tuppence of his own cash into that stadium, so, effectively they had a clean financial sheet...we by comparison, and with a chairman who took away money instead of putting it in, have struggled for a long time. It is also worth noting that without the unexpected and amazing backing from NBC last season we'd have been wiped out. Oh yes how lovely it would be to have a spanking brand new training ground and a massive east stand full of all the latest delights, but it's not going to happen anytime yet. Let's just be sure of essentials first a) competing well in this higher division b) having a seat for every person who wants to buy a ticket.
Rarely disagree Steve but there would be no Sixfields therefore no club without NBC. They also gave us the land to develop. Unfortunately DC messed that up not NBC.

Back in the 60s when coventry were are rivals .Jimmy hill re wrote the eton boat song calling it Sky blues for ever. There is a line in it ...Proud P..h or cobblers la la la la la lar cant remember the rest
When Coventry were our rivals, Jimmy Hill changed them into the Sky Blues and their song went " proud P#sh or Cobblers, the Rangers or anyone, we will defeat them if we play till the battle is won" Or that's how I remember it.

I've decided the best man for the job is Ian Holloway. He got Blackpool to the prem and is a proper character to get the town buzzing again. His quotes are brilliant, The one about Ronaldo is priceless!
Presume this is a wind up. I can think of few worse choices. Total failure since Blackpool and a nutter.
