If we are all happy with a team capable of competing and challenging at L1 level in a ground that allows the club to be sustainable, you'll find billionaires are not required just a town united behind its football club, devoid of any grasping speculators. Thomas also used a similar drastic over exageration 2 years ago to play down our need to do the above, he should've been driven out of town the next day! The only thing they crave is money so need starving out, I'm watching on from the bank in August, and donating £20 per match to the trust, come and join me All I mean Beds is that people don’t buy businesses not to make money

NBC need to distance themselves from the basket cases currently at the helm of our club. Until we get proper owners in who actually give a 5hit about our club they should avoid at all costs any get rich quick schemers, but instead wait and help those with the right intentions.
How long are you prepared for them to wait? Only an idiot with billions of disposable income would buy a football club for no other reason than the fun of it. Do you know anyone like that from Northampton?

It is only if it is untrue that the club or council need to challenge it. The trust are trying to progress matters by confronting the main players. KT needs to express the exact reason why he is not progressing with the completion of the stand now but he won't because he is up a cul-de-sac.
What cul-de-sac is that? For me, the club and the Council are ignoring the Trust. The club haven’t released a statement refuting what has been said by the Trust. Nor have NBC released a statement which backs up the Trust’s statement. At the very least, I would have expected the club to say something through it’s official channels. The Facebook Q&A simply refers people back to the joint statement made in January (was it January? I can’t remember). The way I look at it is that the club don’t see the Trust worthy of their time and certainly don’t see them as anything to be worried about. This, in effect, is actually more worrying that anything else. If the club aren’t bothered by the Trust then what effect can the Trust have? It is essentially saying, “do and say what you want, no one is really listening.”

Ok fair response.
What I do not understand then is why the council have essentially forgotten the statement they released jointly with the football club. Are we to believe that the council were lying? I just don’t understand why NBC say one thing (with the football club) and the Trust say they said something else at a later date.
You see, it is not the Council or a representative of NBC which released this statement but the Trust. Neither NBC or the football club have come out and said that the statement is true (or false) to back the Trust up or indeed rubbish them.
This makes me think that neither the club or the Council see the Trust as anything worth listening to.

I suggest we move on from silly spats with any individual.
The latest position on the delay on the East Stand is set out clearly in the Trust's statement and the statement makes it clear where the responsibility the lies and has done since June last year. We have endured another 10 months of smoke & mirror tactics from KT but he has been found out.
The message from supporters should be loud and clear - KT, get on with what you committed to do and stop dragging your feet.
Out of interest, why are you ignoring the joint statement from the club and NBC that was made many months after June 2018? Surely, due to the fact it was made after June 2018, that statement should supersede the June stance? Do you think the council have forgotten that joint statement? Maybe the Trust also forgot about it? Either way, the club seem content to ignore this latest statement from the Trust. It’s not like they’ve come out all guns blazing, defending themselves from it, is it?

What did everyone think of the new look corner and free kick routines? I was only listening today and Oglethorpe can make things sound far more exciting than they really are.

Marquis was the glaring error in my view. I will never have any understanding of how anyone had reservations about him.
Page thought he could get better than him. All Page's fault
