Wazza, sorry to be pedantic but we did not play at Crewe last season. Good luck and thanks Charlie - as I expected gone to a London club. Wonder if Brentford would still have signed him if they had won the play offs and got promoted to the prem.
Sorry to be pedantic back at you west stand but we did play Crewe last year. As in 2019. March 2nd 2019 to be precise

Same emotions for me this morning.
I'm very happy for Charlie but sad that I won't get to see him play in a Cobblers shirt again.
Crewe away last year was one of my favourite moments of him. He cam over to take a throw and crowd started chanting his name. You could tell he really appreciated it and felt loved by us Cobblers fans. To see him go on and lift the play off trophy a year later was special.
If he keeps improving at the rate he has done under Curle, we'll be seeing him in the Prem soon.

I'll sign up but can only afford $2 at the moment as my yacht is in for repair after a slight mishap.
We appreciate any amount Wandering. And $2 a month is pretty good for everything we provide in my humble opinion.

Can't you get Roberts and Thomas on together?
That was a thought that we had to be fair but we decided against it in the end because regardless of what happens we'd lose out.

I think it’s only fair that Andy Roberts is given the opportunity to do a Q&A as well? Although I am a signed up beneficiary of the POD I will unfortunately be in bed. However, can Charles & Co please ask Kelvin if he were to join the Trust and get elected to the board what would he ask himself, or would he just go straight for self-harming?
Hi Melly, We're not trying to create a debate. It is no different to our last Q&A that we held with Nicky Adams. If Andy Roberts or anyone else from the Trust wanted to offer us their support and do a Q&A that would be great. Personally I'm not sure how many people that listen to us will be interested but if there was enough interest I'd be happy to ask Andy to do one.

What does the trust actually do these days, given the owners clearly have no interest and the trust have no shares in the club. The trust has a 2.6% share in the club. Whilst very low, they are still a shareholder in the club. Personally I don't believe shares are necessary for fan representation to happen. if anything, having shares makes it more of a business interest than a supporting interest and could murky the waters. What happened to the funds raised in the dark days of donations. The members were polled and it was decided the Trust should keep it and set it aside for a "rainy day fund".Do the trust have open accounts? Yes. You can view them on their website.

If I was KT I would be taking the trust's actions as a refusal to his offer and tell them to go fúck themselves.
That's not very fair singcobb. The Trust haven't said that they won't have a meeting with the club. I do see the way they've responded as being a bit "wait your turn" though.

On something like the £3m point, for instance, you have to be 100% sure of your understanding before you go public. Even then you'll likely get further by asking pertinent, open questions and letting people reach their own conclusions.
I couldn't agree more! I will say that I have woken up today feeling that I may have been a little harsh with my immediate feelings regarding the Trust's response. Of course they should keep any pre-arranged appointments that they have and I would expect them (the board members) to discuss the points raised by KT in response to their own 5 points made in their statement regarding the FOI. That being said, surely the response back to the club could have simple said: "Thanks for reaching out. Of course we would like to take you up on your offer. As soon as I have spoken to the rest of the board and gathered some available dates we can all attend I'll be back in touch."

I get what you're both saying but they've had 18 months to decide what they want out of a meeting with the club.
GPC - the interpretation, in my opinion of the FOI shouldn't have been given. They should just have released quotes from it. Andy Roberts has told me that he sees the Trust as a news outlet for the supporters, just providing us with the facts. Their statement on the results of the FOI was more of an opinion piece.
MC - Fair point. As I think I've said elsewhere tonight, maybe I'm just impatient. Personally I expected the Trust to be prepared for this eventuality and know what they wanted to get out of it. You'd almost expect it after having been asking questions of the club and council for so many months without even a turn of the head from KT and the club.

Really? That's a bit extreme! I don't know that anyone is "stirring the pot", i'd hazard a guess that the meeting between the Council (and we don't know who at the Council) and the Trust has been arranged for some time...weeks perhaps? Is it coincidence that the same week KT brings in the Trust from the cold and offers out the olive branch and invites them for a meeting? Perhaps!!
What I hope is that the Trust gets the reassurance they need, and who knows perhaps is corrected in their stance by the Council, and actually KT is right, the Trust have got the wrong end of the stick and have indeed "misinterpreted" the facts.
Time will tell.....as it stands the Club issued their take, the Trust got a FOI and issued their take, the Opposition Councillors have expressed reservations and even some senior Tories on the Council claimed to know nothing about any deal.
Everyone needs to be in possession of the facts before deciding next steps.
Don't forget that KT's video 'rant' was in direct response to the Trust's allegation that he and DB would be receiving £3 million. That was what kick started this. If the Trust had presented the facts of their Freedom of Information request without casting any opinions on what it meant (which is what the Trust and Andy Roberts in particular have said is all that they do), I dare say the club wouldn't have said a word. Perhaps the Trust should have made a big allegation of wrong doing 12 months ago. This whole us versus them would be well and truly over by now.

Considering it's been well over 18 months since the Trust last had the opportunity to sit down with anyone at the football club to discuss their concerns I'm surprised they're happy to wait any longer.
If I was on the board of the Trust, since the open letter was sent I'd have been doing all I could to push a meeting of with the rest of the board forward. I wouldn't be happy to sit there and go - it can wait until our scheduled meeting 7 days later.

Wigan have lost their appeal against relegation from the Championship so we'll be playing them next season.
That's my local game sorted for next season then. Just 1 stop on the London to Glasgow line.
