Don't be too harsh on Jolly he has just spent the last half hour combing 400 odd pages after my little challenge to him - unfortunately he is now off line and resigned himself to becoming a fully paid up member of the "can't put up but won't shut up" club........
Instead of taking a patronising smug stance on your previous post, try reading what Jolly actually said in his post that you've so heroically 'challenged' He said snide comments from those on your side of the fence, not you personally...though guess your aforementioned posts carries his point!

It does amaze me. There are times when things aren't going well (lots of them) and you can understand why people are unhappy and resort to taking out their frustrations on other posters on here but for crying out loud, we've just won four on the trot, we've just scored 5 goals away playing the majority of the game with ten men and we're now looking like a side with genuine promotion credentials, I've seen no one perform better this season than we have in January. So why the continual bickering? Let it go, let's have some peace and happiness on here for a while, who knows how long it will last. If we can't get on now what chance will we ever have to do so?
Also agree, though it could be argued that those individuals performing on the pitch aren't mirrored by perfomances of those off it!

Think special mention should be made to Will Smith, as one of the 317 yesterday. Based in Swindon, up at 6am for the trains to Accrington...on reaching Birmingham last night, faced with our Southampton inter-city cancelled, so train to Leamington then bused to Banbury, followed by another bus to Oxford. Good chats with Reading and Newbury based West Ham bods during that time. Into Oxford at 11.15pm, where I left to Will serenading other stranded passengers with 'ntfc' and 'jon joe..' Cross Country laid on taxis for all passengers...our legend back home for 12am!

So you are Jeema! On the train now to Birmingham, after an ale in Preston talking to an Accrington based Wolves fan!

Loads of snow up here at the moment, with more to come.
Will be amazed if it is on.
Weather forecast for Preston and area on Sat is; 6c and any snow cleared up by then. Accy are almost on a par with Oxford City for their inability to get a game on but...surely even they can invest in some covers???

Ahh, you're going to join my club. Incidentally, how many are with the Cobblers? I held a dream a long time ago to see the Cobblers at all 92 grounds but I think it's nigh on impossible and certainly too late for me now. Somebody could probably have done it in the sixties with our infamous rise and fall but even then I bet we missed somebody either way. I've completed 154 grounds, 125 with the Cobblers but of those only 78 of the current grounds. Never counted...but reckon around 60+ with Cobblers. Haven't been fussed for years now, but Southampton and Pompey with the Cobbs have been last two of three. Been countless non-league and guess around 30 abroad...but 92 always a loose one of course. Blackburn's the only place left I've never set foot in...had a beer..and watched a game!

That's a bit OTT even for this board
Yes, letting Snipe Dog back onto our beloved forum after such a quick and ineffectual ban is a tad harsh... on the rest of us!

Two of us on the train from Oxford...£38 rtn to Preston. Contrary to weather forecasts by some, actually forecast for around 5-6c with light rain or possible snow showers...so despite notorious Stanley pitch, should be on! Giving Peel Park hotel a miss this time for Grants in town centre, which looks brilliant. If off, will complete the '92' next door in Blackburn!

I am, I can't help it. After the best performance I've seen from the side since I don't know when on Saturday, especially the first half and the signings today I'm just about as optimistic about our future as I've ever been or at least since Calderwood. After a reasonable start, we (and Wilder) suffered badly from injuries, it was almost enough to cost the man at the helm his job (must have been close) but he, the team and the supporters have pulled through and I reckon this could now be our year. When was the last time we had a better starting eleven than this? I don't know. Having never bet on the Cobblers before in my life, I'm putting my money where my mouth is. Me and the boy have stuck £50 on at 40/1. Crazy bet I guess but who cares, it's only money. I'm also going to start having to wangle days off again, just want to be part of it. The doom mongers have held sway on here for far too long, it's now time for the optimists among us to take control. The futures bright, the futures claret & white.
Talking of buzzing...when's the Paddington - Temple Meads line going to be electrified? Accrington on Sat...hope to be buzzing, suspect just freezing!

Not meant in any way to be an extention of the Development thread but... Anyone know what the current capacity of Sixfields is? Presuming 'away' is restricted to 900, but on the back of yesterday's dare I say it sublime performance, tickets might start to become a bit if a premium! West stand seems to be near full most games.

Coolcat if you read some of the posts on the ReDev situation you will find some are saying that they prefer the team to do well and that the ReDev is secondary on their list of priorities. IMO am pretty sure that most fans may feel this way. To quote Brickowski analysis of 7 the"most"as you put it are in a significant minority to the overall Supporter fan base. A win tomorrow will put the ReDev firmly on most supporters backburners! Is'nt that what you want?
Brickowski is pretty much at the bottom of the well on the quotation stakes...Jeezzz! Is success on and off the pitch not mutually exclusive?

Surely a Jeema day should be arranged...the thought of several hundred over sized shades, 74 Burton's suit and brolly attired fans talking into their sleeves would at the very least freak the original out...or get the CIA involved! Accrington away!

You and your agenda of knocking the club and now even us supporters. The only thing which will entice supporters thru' the gates is a successful team not the ReDev! I wish you could understand that the majority of supporters only really care about the team not the ReDev which is someway down on their priorities. Its only about 7 of you on here (a la Bricki) who do all the griping. Go on the Coach to Stanley and ask for opinions.............you'll be shocked by the response. Your probably right about the ReDev situation it is not all good but over 90% odf support prefer the team to do better.
So you knock GPC for (supposedly) having a go at us fans...then in your above post, profess to know what 'most' fans want ffs! Perhaps 'most' of us are sick of small mindedness and DC...and actually do give a great fcuk about 'redev' in some hope we can speculate to accumulate...and thus progress and compete!

Agree with Deepcut, Hackett next out. Holmes is much better but he is not our player yet.
Still like Hackett, think he can cause problems down the wings and measured crosses...though those attributes have been a little thin in the ground of late admitedly! Obviously hope Wilder has a forward lined up after showing Moyo and now thankfully, the donkey the door!
