The west stand upper has basically been sold out for nearly every game this season.
But quite a few don't actually turn up! Whole empty back row of Upper West, yet when trying to get tickets, more often than not, told unavailable!

Their away end is massive, we need to be taking a minimum of 2k.
Don't worry, conorntfc will take care of it! Been Barnsley twice. Both times with the Cobblers, both times we've won. Doubt it will be of any importance to us this time around... probably prefer not walking through thousands of angry Tykes having ruined their party! Wigan away at Springfield Park back in the Ninties anyone?

Tortuous in as much as it takes a while (just over 2 hours) with a change onto a crowded (usually) 4 coach Voyager at Coventry to stand up for an hour, and all at a time when people will be looking for other ways to get into London as the WCML is closed.
Can't comment on that. When living in Oxford, often took the Reading train back home from New Street, always Inter-City- on Sunday in particulars, very empty! I'll be going another way at any rate!

This made me think two things. Firstly that I had an Audi A2 once and loved that car...also whether this constitutes 'hemmed in' in any context, even if the image was taken from the warehouse window? You need to factor in the Box Park and that fcuking fair that comes ten times a year!

Not only is Good Friday but there is engineering work on the rails as per usual. No trains south of Milton Keynes over the entire weekend. There is a route to Reading via Coventry but its a bit tortuous and i'm sure Cross Country trains will be short formed and extremely busy!!
The route via Coventry is hardly tortuous...in fact to Reading, quite smooth. Expensive yes, anyone going that way would be advised to split tickets; Northampton to Coventry - Coventry to Reading. £48 rtn basically, as opposed to £70 rtn just booking the whole hog!

Wow. That's impressive. I blame the sports scientists, they've somehow managed to redefine what classes as an injury and got everyone to believe them.
Modern sports scientists don't treat injuries any better than the days of lore... it's the rehab excuses that they bring to the table!

Little chance at all that Kieron Bowie will be in the squad for the game against Derby County this Saturday. Irony that it could have been the Cobblers not Derby pushing for a postponement, given Bowie and Springett called up by their respective countries. Think it needs to be three call ups though. Still, Hoskins should be back...we're not the same without him!

Where did you hear this?
We've only sold out the bottom tier, and still selling the second one.
Don't know who conorntfc is but I'd give scant regard to anything he posts regarding ticket sales. Early on the Portsmouth (a) thread he posted; Looks like the allocation of 1,104 tickets is close to a sell out. We took 750 odd in total!

I’ve got a very bad feeling about this. Derby -3 looks slightly appealing. I guess if they hammer us, it hurts Posh.
See Darren Ferguson is at odds with Posh management. He believes the powers that be at Posh allowing 4000 Pompey to descend on the city was instrumental in them losing the game. Posh have replied by telling him to basically grow up! Still, does answer why the Cobblers were edged out a few weeks ago. I fear what the score might have been had they not allowed us 1,675! Derby on the hill to bolster the 1,475?

Oxford v Lincoln now off! Ours I reckon will go the same.
Terrible timing...would love nothing better than for Lincoln to hit Oxford Utd with their customary five or six goals! Derby County clearly don't need postponements!

Makes you appreciate what you have doesn't it!
Someone needs to get a grip of the whole ownership process though. He was considered unsuitable by the Premier League (trying to buy Hull), crashed and burned a club in Belgium and did the same to a club in China after moving them all over China and the EFL approved him. Incredible really.
Yes, he previously ran a club into liquidation in China and his sister did the same to a Belgian club. Absolute family of wong uns!

I didn't go and for the first time this season, didn't listen/watch it online. I actually went to Rushden and Diamonds who blooded a new keeper who somehow was even worse than a combination of Mitchell and our loan star. Ironically his name was Louis as well.
But yeah. Dadge for me next week. This chap we've currently got simply doesn't cut it at this level. His distribution is woeful, he's mistake prone and he hardly ever makes a save.
Dadge is 18 I think...the same age as the Newcastle keeper was when he was playing for us. Give him his chance. Absolutely do not buy into it that it will shunt his development if he struggles. If he's good enough, he will 'make it' regardless. He looked decent pre-season when I saw him. Lets give him his chance...the bloke we are currently playing is costing us points so there's nothing to lose.
Like the team (it appears) I've lost interest now. I was going to go to Reading but have dumped that idea now. Ill see out the home games minus Port Vale because Im away but this season is done and dusted now. Its a shame but phytologically the players don't have the desire now and I cant see that changing. They've lost their edge. It happens to most mid table teams around this time of the season.
Every team in a battle to stay up or a battle to go up wants to play a midtable side. We are now 'that' midtable side!
So said keeper had signed for R & D that day, made his debut, let in four goals, had a fight with a fan in the clubhouse afterwards and has had his contract terminated...all in one day!

That's a very good point. Moulden's confidence, as well as ability un truth, must be in pieces. Every likelihood a monumental drubbing at the hands of Derby anyway! Another good point from Out of Towner in that JB and the team are spiralling towards this being a less memorable season than it might have been. That's at his door as well as the ridiculously couldn't give a flying performance from individuals - including Guthrie, who I thought was garbage against Blackpool...along with others! Point in contrast to the above, is that we all cried and blubbered when Keith Hill 'blooded' his Sc***horpe U12s on that fateful day. Now many have been advocating we do similar!

Whilst I really am truly grateful to all those people who have contacted me in support, I mean this in the nicest possible way when I say, stay out of it. I can fight my own battles.
That as maybe, but hearing the The Trust are amassing a military presence just outside of Chapel Brampton with an expected incursion into Kingsthorpe!

Not sure if I’m slightly dyslexic or something, but does anyone else keep seeing this as “reading”, as in I’m reading Cats highly informative pre match review. That is rather than “Reading” the picturesque Berkshire town and home of the fallen giants?
Capital letters should direct you to the picturesque Berkshire town...top or top three largest in the country! What do you make of their Chinese c**t of a chairman, Die Young?
