We've only beaten 1 of them.
It sucks we haven't been able to capitilise a bit more. The quality in difference between the leagues is absolutely tremendous.

I must admit, although I have tried to remain optimistic and positive I was underwhelmed with our signings. When we got Williams it just felt like we'd signed a slightly younger Revell. With Morais, given that we paid money for him and I feel we'd be better with playing a 3 man central midfield I'd rather that money went on a wide player. They'll come good though...honest We also signed players Marquis and Toney had replaced at their previous clubs. Damn you Page for choosing Revell over Marquis!

As I have said before, we could so easily be this season's Chesterfield.
Once losing becomes entrenched in to a club it's like a cancer and takes a long time to turn.
I'd say finishing in the top half would be a very successful season.
I think we'll have more than enough to stay up. The teams we've played this season have been absolutely terrible so far... I'm certain there'll be worse clubs than us (doesn't get much 'easier' than Cheltenham on Saturday).

I'd have thought we should be putting our best team out and getting them to gel. Whatever the competition. When we're sat in the promotion spots, then you can rest players now and then.
But then, does he know our best side?
That's the beauty of our team. The vast majority were here last year, so we don't need any time to gel.

Its a plus when you can have a couple of stands closed, (im assuming,as im not there), thus reducing running costs. Other than that, I can see no point in this format of a competition whatsoever. Just get the North stand open for both sets of fans I say.

cant convert the chances and concede goals every game. we look a mid to lower league div 2 side.
Spot on. We dominate teams without creating many clear cut chances. We waste possession so much in the final 3rd it's painful to watch.

Agree, we massively need a run of results. Attendances and league table are looking drab at the moment. Also agree about Cornell today... He turned into Neuer for the day today

All the doom-mongers are back in force.
Since when do people listen to Sammo's views? Does he know everything and is always right. What has he done in management recently?
I would much prefer to see the football on offer this season and enjoy us actually attempting to win a game, long may it continue.
We're playing significantly worse opposition than last season, hence why we're dominating more games. The results seem just as bad though... That's why we have the negative comments.

How many chances and good attacking positions can one man destroy in one game? Hoskins may as well have played for Tranmere today. He was there best defender at times.

I’m one of the pessimists usually but I think we’ll win this one, anybody else agree?
For as long as Lincoln sit top, I'll be thinking we'll win before every game. KvV first Cobblers hattrick this Saturday.

Cornell was great and everyone put in a decent shift. Still a couple of things to work on but much better.
Hopefully we'll hammer Tranny next week and go on a run.
Terrorising Tranmere?

Ward Facey Taylor Pierre Turnbull Foley Mcwilliams Morias O'Toole Crooks KvV I know we won't, but I'd play this formation/team currently. Would offer us much more defensively and keeps all the current underperformers out (besides Taylor... But he's still better than an in-form Barnett).
