The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Kieron Bowie

He ain't coming back as no deal has been done. Maybe there could be one to be done at some point in the future (maybe even this summer) and he does come back. Stranger things have happened in football.
At that age, out of contract doesn't mean no fee, it means compensation is due, which isn't necessarily a players full value. I think compensation is meant to reflect the development the old club had put into the player. I wonder which club has developed Bowie most in the past two seasons?
Compensation would only be due if Fulham offer Bowie a new contract, which i don't think they will.

Good call about Jack Diamond, a player JB has always liked. However, he wasn't very impressive when he came on for Carlisle recently.
Others, John Marquis - not playing for Bristol Rovers. Jayden Stockley - if Fleetwood go down and seems to have fallen out of favour under Charlie Adam.
The fans who had complained about Simpson's lack of effort would have a field day with Marquis based on his lack of movement when he came on at Sixfields

I'm sure I read a while ago that sky will be showing all mid week games next season so that will make up a lot of the live games.... Says it it in the article, all mid week and bank holiday games to be shown, so may reduce mid week attendances even more .
5 games in total each weekend across league 1 and league 2 and 5 from the Championship.
Not sure I particularly like this.

Once our club start showing a resemblance of real progression, I will return. I see the bookies have already stopped taking bets on our impending relegation next season! Hopefully we get some ambitious owners in soon that can get our club to its true level which isn't the 4th division. I'm going to cheer the team on at Barnsley .. 😉
Can't find any relegation odds being offered for next season. Unsurprisingly as this season hasn't ended.

Rumours already circulating that the land has already been flipped (can't be right as Willsher said that the owners were considering building and renting out the warehouses and everything was being done in the best interests of NTFC
Not seen this rumour anywhere. Can you point me to where I can read this rumour?...some substance please,

Peterborough raised £2.5 million through a bond, but the interest is 9% per annum, plus a one off 15% if they get promoted to the championship before 2026/27.
It's was a five bond, so there will have to pay it back in 2027.

Really, that's a surprise, I was told something entirely different. Just had a quick check on Wikipedia (so it must be true) and his total appearances are listed as 22 the season before we signed him?
Wiki doesn't break down between starts and sub appearances, so can be quite misleading. It can look like a player has played a lot of games, when it's all 97th minute off the bench.

McGowan has 1.91 points per game this season.
Marc Leonard 1.37 points per game this season which is considerably less than McWilliams and Sowerby.
Which player are many raving about and predicting Premier League and international appearances?

Would we class Bradders? I think he came to us as a youth player, so not all the way through our ranks. Same goes for Mark Bunn.
It terms of having a good career after coming through the ranks, I think of Luke Chambers. 792 EFL appearances, which according to Wikipedia puts him in the top 10 of all time. And with only 4 clubs. That says highly rated by each club, in my book.
Better than Christian Lee.
I have just looked up Chris Dunn, as another who came into the youth set up. It seems he died in 2021, aged only 34. I don't remember seeing anything about that. Far too young to be dying. RIP
Well he updated his LinkedIn account this month, now working as an accountant in Northampton.

Let’s be honest, Tom was a club employee which should have excluded him from the process, however we are where we are, just for the record I’m sure Tom is a nice guy and does his best in the role.
What your avoidance of answering the question says to me is you haven't got the guts to ask Tom your question.

I think you’re a bit confused, let me explain, Tom is the fans representative, he is also a director, but doesn’t actually own anything, his role is to be the conduit to the board (owners)for the fans.
Yes that's right, but you need to put the question to Tom.
