Obviously had a big impact on his Luton debut today He had 15 Months to prove himself as an NTFC player. ADB is assembling a mentally stronger/physical squad of which Robinson is not part of. Best for all parties if he moves on permanently in January imo...

After seeing the side last night I cannot see Robinson getting anywhere near the team. If I was him I would be asking his agent to sort a move before the window shuts. He should be ok elsewhere as he had a good record elsewhere but it just hasn't worked out here. He could stay and get his wages(which he is entitled to) but by not playing for a season could then find it hard to get a league club once he is released. He could then soon drift into non league football. By making a move now he could reignite his career. I hope it gets sorted soon for the club and for jake himself.
That's the trouble. As ADB has already stated, someone had got to want him first of all!

Fact is ADB has completely turned our club around and most fans are 100% behind his decisions. Bitter current/ex player comments won't faze ADB in the slightest. Before ADB came in we were a completes shambles. We now act and feel like a professional football club again.

How do you know how much he is on, he was sign'd from a Lge2 side by a Lge2 side so he wont be on a huge amount
Because he was GJs marquee signing last summer and had numerous clubs after him at the time. He was a free agent and we would have had to offer him a decent contract to get him. That's why the deal was done so early. Fact is Robinson and Turnbull are the only remaining players of the shambolic GJ reign and AB is trying his hardest to offload them. Trouble is no one will match the wages they are on. If they want to play football they will both have to accept hefty pay cuts else see out their contracts and end up on the players scrapheap at the end of the season...

He can either sulk and continue to pick up his hefty salary or just accept he is not an AB type of player and get his agent to sort out a move for him elsewhere. If he just wants to play first team football he will have to take a pay cut as Johnson would have given him a salary which no one else is gonna match...

Moult replies again though. This is the Ex-Bradford lad.
He was released by Stoke but spent time on loan at Bradford... Interesting that previous trialist keeper Connor Roberts was on the bench for us...

Calm the fook down people...
AB stated only yesterday that he is trying to offload Turnbull so it will happen sooner or later. Bayo will only leave if we get a silly bid for him. As for CC, i've stated before that I would be more than happy to have him, back but not if we have to pay him a king's ransom to join us...

http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11750/7912058/Boothroyd-aims-to-sign-CarlisleManager Aidy Boothroyd remains hopeful he can lure Clarke Carlisle from Championship outfit Burnley to sign for Northampton. The Cobblers boss took the experienced defender on loan from the Clarets last season and the 32-year-old is now out of contract. Boothroyd told BBC Radio Northampton: "I think there is a chance [of him signing towards the end of pre-season]. "There are a lot of different variables when you are dealing with Clarke and there have not been any ultimatums." He added: "When you try and bring players in, I think you have to treat every individual as a separate case," he added. "As we are going along, things will evolve naturally. I think we do need a centre-half."
