61  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: January Transfer Window 2020 on: January 29, 2020, 08:00:24 am
So, a few days to go til deadline day...

BBC Radio Numpty interviewer (Jake Sharp I think), frustratingly yet again failed to ask KC after the game, about any possible outgoings/incomings before the deadline passes....

Instead, asked him about the Derby game  Roll Eyes

So, ntfclad, what's your hunch?

BBC have confirmed they're showing Poxford v Newcastle game on the Tuesday night...

Martin also starts...sigh!
65  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Derby away - replay on: January 28, 2020, 13:17:31 pm
Any idea how many Derby have sold so far?

The more the merrier as it will add to the atmosphere and to our coffers!  Grin

Isn't McCormack and McWilliams out for most of the season?

Smith & McWilliams, not McCormack (who we're told is getting nearer and nearer to full fitness before every game!)
67  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Sc***horpe 28.1.2020 on: January 28, 2020, 10:54:10 am
Really hoping we can keep KVV quiet.

It's rare that I take such an intense dislike to someone as him, but I really can't stand the twat.

Agree, no doubting he's a quality player at this level though...

Just don't let him turn & shoot in or around our box...
68  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Sc***horpe 28.1.2020 on: January 28, 2020, 10:04:52 am
Not fussed about goals to games ratio when it comes to big Vadaine, I bloomin love him!

I've never enjoyed watching a striker who doesn't score as much as I do with Oliver

Along with his non stop effort, you just know he'll win 9 out of 10 headers...just need a fellow striker to feed off him
69  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Sc***horpe 28.1.2020 on: January 28, 2020, 09:21:01 am
I reckon he will start with the same team as on Friday...

Nah, he'll drop Williams, would not be surprised if he moves on or before deadline day, providing we can bring in a replacement (Hylton?)

KC has never really rated Williams, and if we can get a fee before his contract expires, I think we'll take it
70  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: January Transfer Window 2020 on: January 27, 2020, 21:24:00 pm
Cornell agent doing his utmost to get him a transfer...

Derby, Ipswich & Blackburn all interested apparently...

Sure the same rumours were doing the rounds during the August window. Hs agent must be desperate for a cut of any transfer fee as he's out of contract in the Summer
71  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Derby away - replay on: January 27, 2020, 21:18:17 pm
Gutted......

He couldn't have played in the replay anyway (like the two new loan signings) as they all had to be registered before the original game...
72  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: January Transfer Window 2020 on: January 27, 2020, 17:23:32 pm
Any legs in the Cornell rumours ntfclad?
73  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: January Transfer Window 2020 on: January 27, 2020, 15:16:09 pm
ntfclad do you think we'll still get in an experienced striker?

Also, you think anyone will leave before Friday?
74  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: January Transfer Window 2020 on: January 27, 2020, 14:56:19 pm
Confirmed. 2 loans in at 4
75  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Derby County (h) FA Cup Fourth Round - 24 Jan 2020 on: January 26, 2020, 20:07:25 pm
Sti think it depends on the draw....if the winners face a fifth round trip to Old Trafford it’s much more likely to be televised than if the winners will face Portsmouth at home.

Plus the Lampard love in if we/Derby get Chelsea...
76  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: January Transfer Window 2020 on: January 26, 2020, 14:59:11 pm
KT said on the Cobblers show than one (Marshall) will be in before Tuesdays game, and hopefully another one or two will be in on or before deadline day...
77  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Welcome - Mark Marshall on: January 26, 2020, 11:51:38 am
Be lazy here but is he cup tied?

Yes, played for Gills v West Ham

According to Wikipedia, yes I know you can't believe everything there, he served a 2 year ban for drug taking. Anyone know if this is true as no one has mentioned it?

Yes, it's true, served his time so let's get behind him now.

It's great to finally have a proper front foot pacy winger in our squad. Always rated him when I've seen him play.

Welcome aboard Mark!

Won’t be the striker today

Do you know if it's an experienced striker we're after or an untried youngster?
