Totally agree with this. There is certainly a faction of posters on here who're quick to resort to personal insults if they don't agree with the opinions of others (particularly, in my experience, certain members of the "anti-PC brigade" who think their own opinions are gospel). It does occasionally make for a toxic environment which will inevitably deter some people from posting.

That said, I do think the moderators on here work tirelessly to try and keep such personal abuse to a minimum so fair play to them. By contrast, of course, healthy debate should be encouraged as it's the life-blood of a forum such as this one.
