There's a lot of competition for his position and he had plenty of chances last season.

A shame because he's a hard working lad who I would have liked to see come good.

Presumably Yeovil will be paying a fair chunk of (or all of) his wages for the rest of the season.

Get Lines a loan move as well and spend the cash on an extra CB.
22  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: The P*sh (Saturday 10th October) on: October 09, 2020, 12:27:02 pm
For me:

Mitchell

Harriman  Bolger   Racic   Mills

Adams   Missilou   Sowerby   Hoskins

Rose   Ashley-Seal

Arnold, Marshall, Watson, McWilliams, Smith, Korboa, Chucka

This assuming that Rose, Sowerby and Adams are fit enough to play 60 minutes +

3-1 Cobblers win. Danny Rose with two, Mills with the other.

Missilou

We probably have, but I believe that the club should retain that funding in case the service that has been paid for is not delivered and the club has to reimburse either partially or fully that ST money?

I doubt that there will be refunds issued this time around.

Everyone knew what they were signing up for this time around and the iFollow match coverage is being offered as compensation in the short term.
27  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: 'Ull Sat'dy on: September 21, 2020, 09:50:35 am
Should be a good game.

Midweek cup match should work against them and hopefully we have a few more players available to fill our matchday squad.

1-1
28  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Bristol City (a) EFL Cup R2 - 16/09/20 on: September 16, 2020, 23:23:05 pm
Remember we beat Cardiff 3-0 in the first round when we actually played our strongest XI.

Curle clearly had no interest in progressing further in the competition, using it as an opportunity to blood youngsters and get Hoskins some much-needed game time. The tactics clearly didn't suit those players though and for that he must take responsibility.

Whether playing that team was right or wrong is a separate debate, but clearly the focus is on the league and you can't judge our first team squad based on that performance.
29  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Milton Keynes (a) EFL Trophy on: September 09, 2020, 08:53:43 am
Unfortunately for those of us who would be happy to go out, I'd still imagine that we will qualify with relative ease. Home games vs Southampton U21 and Stevenage to come. Can't see us losing either, reserve team or otherwise.

Injuries last night much more of a concern than the result, hopefully the subs were made as precautions.

Bringing on Lines and Martin (rather than Marshall for example) is concerning but hopefully another sign that this competition is not being taken seriously. No more concerned by this than by the Luton result.

Fingers crossed for the weekend.

So what would have excited you?
Maybe a Prem team, containing eleven youngsters that you've never heard of? Maybe even away, at an iconic stadium...that you can't visit anyway!

Given the nearest you can get to a game is I-Follow, which by many accounts is a shocker, really can't get what those moaning about drawing Bristol City expect!

This.

The draw is almost meaningless, although a game on proper TV would have been nice.

Got as good a chance of beating these as anyone really. Ground I've not been to so shame there's no fans allowed. Hope we win.
31  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Summer 2020 Transfer Window on: September 06, 2020, 09:08:19 am
Clearly out of our budget range but I'm shocked Michael Jacobs is still without a club following his release from Wigan. Presumably waiting on a Championship offer.

Devante Cole also still without a club.
32  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Summer 2020 Transfer Window on: September 01, 2020, 22:18:34 pm
Weíre sh1t and weíll always be sh1t the yoof of today beaten before they start, waiting for a handout from the state.
Iíll post what I like pal, if you donít like it donít read it.

Lmao what are you on about you miserable buggar?

No idea what NTFC has to do with the "yoof of today" or wanting a "handout from the state".

People are just rightly perplexed by you being so miserable when a ball hasn't been kicked this season and we were promoted last year. Give the lads a chance jeez
33  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Summer 2020 Transfer Window on: August 23, 2020, 10:19:34 am
Bolger confirmed as new club captain

(Wasn't sure where to post this)
34  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Fixtures 2020/21 on: August 21, 2020, 15:08:20 pm
Solid fixture list.

Most of the good aways towards the end of the year when things will hopefully be back to normal.

Aiming to get to Wigan, Crewe, Accrington, Wimbledon and Doncaster for the first time this season.

35  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Summer 2020 Transfer Window on: August 21, 2020, 15:05:47 pm
Class signing.

Two new strikers and I'll be happy with the squad with have going into the new season.
36  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Summer 2020 Transfer Window on: August 21, 2020, 14:18:26 pm
Potentially very decent addition.

Wonder if this was negotiated as part of the Goode deal?
37  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Summer 2020 Transfer Window on: August 21, 2020, 13:51:56 pm
Season long loan to be announced shortly, fingers crossed for Morton or Wharton (again)...
38  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Season Tickets on: July 17, 2020, 08:46:07 am
As it's the older generation who appear to have accepted the government covid guidelines and adhered to them perhaps it is they who should be given priority as some of the younger people have adopted a "this does not apply to us" attitude.

 Roll Eyes

I'm sorry but this is just b*llocks.

The number of elderly people that I have seen flouting lockdown rules since day one is insane.
The elderly were the last to leave the pubs pre-lockdown and the first to rush back afterwards. Proper keep calm and carry on stuff.

Not like they're the ones who are likely to need a hospital bed when they get it.

Madness.
39  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Summer 2020 Transfer Window on: July 05, 2020, 21:50:17 pm
Rod McDonald to come back please. That'd be lovely
40  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: The 'Clare Balding' POTS 2019-20: Final Result on: July 04, 2020, 02:25:31 am
Interesting that no player has ever won this twice.

Would be good to see Goode break that trend.
