Blackpool represents the best away day in my opinion, based on my experience going to Fleetwood this year.
Also haven't actually done Blackpool themselves so would be another ground ticked off for me.

Goffy and Iaciofano have signed professional contracts.
Goffy possibly as reserve goalkeeper next season then? Or perhaps bolstering the squad as third choice (like Paddy Kenny this season).
Hopefully Iaciofano gets a few games next season. Would certainly be nice to see him selected for a few cup games at least.

Doncaster are promoted and will be in League One next season. That's two teams confirmed (still none from the current L1 line-up that can't still potentially get into the play-offs or be relegated).

Play the group stage as a regionalist tournament pre season, better than losing to Premier League fringe players or local pub teams.
I actually agree that were a large chunk of the tournament to effectively replace pre-season friendlies, it would garner a little bit more interest. More importantly, it wouldn't interrupt the league campaign quite so much.

Added Walsall to the 'very likely' teams for next season.
Coventry could have been relegated this weekend if they'd lost today, but will now mathematically survive for at least an extra week.
Rotherham could be the first team confirmed as being in the L1 17/18 line-up on Saturday, if they fail to beat Fulham OR if results elsewhere go against them.

The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Biggest Away Followings
|

Following our impressive away followings of the last two seasons, I've began to wonder what our all time biggest away attendances have been, with little luck in terms of finding evidence on the internet.
Obviously the 7000ish at MK Dons and 4000ish(?) at Liverpool will be amongst the highest of all time. But I was wondering if we've ever hit those dizzying heights before, or at least since away attendances have been recorded. How many did we take to Leicester in 2008, I feel like it was a fair few? Nottingham Forest? Coventry? Even Peterborough back in the days when we got a bigger allocation on the terraces?
If anybody has a definitive top ten or so I'd be really interested to see it, and to see if we can continue to provide such incredible levels of support over the next few seasons.

Indeed, a special mention does have to go to the Bolton stewards who were undoubtedly the biggest c*nts I've come across at a football ground.
So glad our fans (seemingly accidentally) formed a block of all standing and a block of all sitting because they were definitely the type to have kicked up a fuss if if it was only a couple of hundred standing (they looked like they were going to try and enforce sitting down at one point despite the unanimity of the fans) - they were looking for a fight basically.
And yeah also annoying that it was so wet. Never got wet at a football ground before, and got soaked at probably the best one I've been to. Paradox.
