Another four points if it is off?
At least another four, possibly more considering the communication problems. Puts Macclesfield bottom of the league despite having won just one fewer game than they have lost. Can't see them lasting the season.

Thought that game was well worth going to for the Hoskins goal alone. We looked very good until be scored but faded out, increasingly once Smith replaced Williams (why??)
Shout-out to the old bloke in the shades directly behind the goal. What an absolute nutter. Admittedly very entertaining for the most part hearing him unironically call every player a **** and a **** from about 40 minutes onwards. But it did get tedious and he made a couple of racially aggravated comments aimed at their centre-back that I was slightly surprised the stewards didn't pull him up on. It's the kind of thing that is (rightly) being cracked down on at games now.
Some of our fans make me wonder.
Good away day anyway, hadn't been before, would go again 100%.

Moved because the clubs wanted longer prep time after the New Years Day games. Personally doesn't bother me.
Ah, that's fair enough and makes sense. I assumed it was for some kind of TV coverage (ie the BBC goals programme but I think that only runs in the first two rounds), hence my confusion.

There were worse draws out there, Gillingham and Portsmouth away being prime examples.
I fancy us to give them a good game and possibly beat them if we can maintain our form between now and then.
Be good to see JJOT playing again as well.

I think the cup in either format was a mistake.
If they wanted to revitalise interest then introducing Championship clubs would have been a better way to go, and would have made it a proper EFL trophy.
The problem with having a cup for just L1 and L2 clubs is that most of us play each other all the time, so it's never anything special. That's a key difference to the FA Trophy / FA Vase where leagues are increasingly regionalised.

Upset that I can't make it; 12:45 kick-off on a Sunday is no good at all for public transport else I would definitely be there.
Hopefully it begins to pave the way towards a peachy 3rd round draw though.
