They were definitely in the breech yesterday, shame when so many of us turned up to see a performance.

Further point about Carlisles fall from grace. With their relegation, and Truros promotion, that is one hell of an away day. If that fell midweek, you would need three days off work.

Michael - thank you as always for replying and commenting on these posts reflecting Trust activity - a couple of points from me.

Of course there is nothing factually incorrect in the trust update (as I would expect knowing the authors) but it is the continuing tone that shows we are still some way from establishing the trust I know you want to develop - the statement makes very clear implication that building warehouses is not correct path forward, highlighting the fact there is an objection process, highlighting the “majority” of fans didn’t want warehousing and of course the complete absence of any genuine praise to the owners on completion of the East Stand along with veiled scepticism on KT saying the club would benefit from the enterprise - these are not the words from individuals who want to build bridges rather those who want to continue a battle that’s already been lost.

Secondly, and I don’t want to compromise you but I find it very disturbing that the trust issue statements without at least showing it to all board members and hopefully allowing comments and then proceeding on a majority decision - the apparent absence of this only confirms to me not all board members are equal and the trust is still being run by a minority rather than as a democracy

Personally I’m not that jealous, if I was only concerned about money and success I wouldn’t support the cobblers,

Exactly.

When you compare them with some of the sides they come up against with their history and presumably greater support/financial clout they've performed well above their natural level for years. Best of luck to them n ext season.

IMO it’s none of our business where he goes! If he goes to MK Dons that’s his choice!

You do realise they've already appointed Paul Warne? Or are you talking about when the vacancy comes up again  Roll Eyes Grin

Good riddance to Wrexham. Am I jealous? Of their backing of course.

Another case of buying your way up the league, bit like Fleetwood. And we know how that is going now...

That said, unlikely Ryan Reynolds will get locked up.

Money does matter. There are exceptions of course but most would have said Birmingham and Wrexham at the start of the season and so it comes to pass.

Let's see how they do next season as you'd suspect they'll need a mass clear out. Let's see if Hollywood is prepared to pump £50,60m in to keep the bandwagon rolling

Wrexham do have a few advantages over other clubs bankrolled up the leagues. The tv show has given them global recognition resulting in ridiculously higher merchandise sales and advertising revenue than could be expected for a club their size. Also the Hollywood links mean players sign for them that could probably get better deals elsewhere, wouldn’t surprise me if Vardy rocks up there next season.

Personally I’m not that jealous, if I was only concerned about money and success I wouldn’t support the cobblers,

It would not surprise me if the final relegation place in the Championship went to Preston. They have not won any of their last 16 EFL games and are away to Bristol City next week. Since Woodman got injured they have had Cornell in goal and in 8 games he has let in 16 goals.
Old habits die hard!
