Anything less than 10/11 points might leave us with a bit too much to do in the second half of the season

We'll beat that in the next 4 games.

Still effectively 5 points off safety and it's such a shame we couldn't get those extra points last night.

I think it's usually around the 51 point mark for safety so another 42 points from 32 games needed. I think the amount of points we pick up between now and 1st January will determine our season. Anything less than 10/11 points might leave us with a bit too much to do in the second half of the season

I blame cj for the loss.

He said we never miss penalties..
I was getting a very bad feeling before JJ took it, remembering his 'deliberate' miss in the tin pot cup.
But he's a big unit to say no to, so I'm taking full responsibility.

I think itís more a case of the squad being unbalanced rather than the players not good enough .
Pre takeover , some of the signings are div 2 standard but the rest are ok , itís just that they havenít performed.
We have a better squad than last year thatís for sure

Agree completely. The squad is unbalanced so we struggle to find a system that works and try different permutations with different players. This makes it difficult for players to find their form, which is made worse when results are as bad as they have been and confidence is shot. Although there is no doubt we have a goalscoring problem that needs addressing, I still think we have a number of promising/useful players, who will get better if given a run in the team in a suitable position and if we start picking up a few results.

Foley for me. Good positioning, distribution and really looked up for it. Delighted for Buchannan though, and great post match interview yet again by him. Great club man in an age where they are a dying breed. We are lucky to have him.

Apart from JJ.  I only ever remember him twice taking a penalty, both times in penalty shoot outs. And he missed both!

always nice when someone thinks they are bigger than the management and decide they know best, so take the penalty ahead of the designated penalty taker...............probably doesn't care enough about the team.

although him and richards can do no wrong, so it must be everyone elses fault.

We were very poor until the goal, but at last we showed some fight. How on earth does Powell con a living?

maybe he is excellent at training - if only some one was at training to confirm this?!
