Chron mentioned Cam McWilliams would have been on the bench but picked up an injury. Still odd they didn’t replace him with Odoffin though.

What is odd in having 6 on the bench? Your getting as bad as the others.

If ward is not up to scratch we really are ****!

Imagine having 3 keepers all not good enough to be number 1 and a young kid on the books.

**** poor show if that's the case on Austins part

Oh....are you implying that Ward is not the new Messiah after all??  Grin

On last night, is not ready yet; needs a lot of coaching. Should have saved their goal last night too. This is bad news for the Cornell detractors who see Ward as the new nos 1. Ha Ha.

This is what I’d do, obviously McWilliams back in for Foley when fit. Very rare that a team plays 442 these days with out and out wingers, if they do they usually have 2 defensive minded central midfielders sitting, which we don’t have. I know playing Crooks wide “looks” odd given his size but I think it free’s him up a bit, he could be the creative spark we’ve missed for 2 years .......

.... (optimists view)

I am afraid Foley had a disappointing  game last night and looks miles off what is required in L2; for us that is!

I hate to doubt DA at this early stage but surely KVV or Williams should have been on the bench last night. I am fed up of managers treating cup competitions like they don't matter, winning like losing is a habit, without a win so far DA should have gone for a win and at least had a bench to change things, no plan B again.

Same with checkatrade make winning a habit and players fight for places in all competitions, get us to the checkatrade final and you'll open up the club to a new audience.

I am not suggesting DA goes, he just needs to get tough every game, I personally think he has a squad bigger than he wants with players he doesn't want but will have to play due to the salaries and because they didn't leave he wasn't able to recruit players he wanted. We currently look as much a threat to promotion as we did last year and are maintaining that losing habit. strongest team should be out every game and get some close door friendlies to keep the other players fit.
