Bit of a random one, is Snedker leaving on loan then? Can't imagine Archer will displace Duke

Good that snedker will get to go out on loan and get games which he needs. Have to say first thing that comes to mind with archer is always the Gillingham incident!

Makes a lot of sense. Snedker needs games but we need a back up keeper.

Mark Bunn's loan period with Kettering was probably the making of him; in contrast, Chris Dunn was thrown straight into our first team and we all know how that turned out.

Doesn't make sense for Tottenham or Archer though, what's the point in sending a player out on loan to sit on the bench all season? especially at the age of 21 when he really needs games

Perhaps he'll be our first choice.

Duke was hardly imperious last season was he?

Archer is in his last year of contract - you'd imagine he's either being farmed out for games (and if so, you'd imagine Tottenham would have sought some degree of assurance regarding first team opportunities) or they've already decided his future isn't in the Premier League and they accordingly couldn't care less where he plys his trade (or warms the bench) for the next 12 months.

It's good that this allows Snedker out on loan, but I can't see Archer being any more than a backup for Duke. Mate who is a spurs fan tells me he conceded 7 at Ledley Kings testimonial.

I'm not inspired by this. I'd actually be happy to see Duke replaced if the replacement was better but this fella doesn't exactly have great reports!

Let's hope our defence is better than Scotland's. Three in goal wouldn't have kept England out.

Yep - Scotland were poor but every goalie has an occasional off day!

The only mention I could find was a Wycombe fan highlighting him as a past quality loan signing

Hotel End Player of the Season  Wink

Don't start...we get all too often reminded how misguided we are!  Grin

Was and always will be total utter... imo!

Hope Jordan Archer will be able to confidently step up to the plate should Duke carry on down what appears to be an increasingly wobbly path.
