One of the commentators thought he was candidate for MOM. Why don't you wait for opinion from somebody who went? Misery Guts!

Because those that went to Portsmouth for a midweek match in the Johnstones Paint Trophy are not of sound mind?

He did ok last night, couple of good saves and actually came off his line to claim some crosses, perhaps could have done better for their goal, but it was Richards stray pass that created the problem in the first place. Thought Nicholls did ok and with more composure would have had a couple of goals when in good positions.

Hey Horsham the Marquis thinks that you are not of sound mind in going to the JP game. I think anybody who went deserves a free ticket for Luton game.

I have to say I don't get this? Speaking as someone who throughout my twenties/thirties went to the majority of games home and away, I never felt that I "deserved" anything. Nobody made me go, it was completely my choice, I wanted to go and now and again my "reward" was to see my team put in a good performance (not often I grant you). That and the social side of the whole thing. If people wanted to go to Fratton Park on Tuesday night to see their team in a JPT match, good for them but let's not pretend for one moment that they were handcuffed and forced to go. They got what they "deserved" when the team won.

Quite right Marvo. When I was one of the 49 (? I think) at Hartlepool t'other year in the JPT who saw us get stuffed 4 - 0, we got what we deserved. Although we did get a free Players Lounge pass for our troubles, although it was before we were ripped to pieces on the pitch. However, I didn't get to use mine as I don't go to home games - I'm worried there wouldn't be a spare seat for me.

That's a good point, I'm no superfan but thing fell into place meaning it was easy for me to get to the Portsmouth game. I was rewarded with an entertaining win, far more enjoyable than the 'important' game in the league. For balance I couldn't make the 5-1 against Hartlepool.

He did play very well today, I am not having a pop at him as such, what concerns me though, is the the back line seem very poor in front of him, if that is because of him I don't know.

Yes, he was really sound today. But a part of a golakeeper's job is to be a defensive organiser and he is completely silent - it's a problem.

Bears repetition! Really striking, being as close to the pitch as we were yesterday, that nobody is making much noise or taking responsibility to organise at set pieces. For all his physical bravery and hard man looks, even Cresswell is pretty quiet. Seemed to me that Robertson and Byrom were the only ones doing any talking at set pieces, which isn't fair for example on a kid like Toney who's trying to work out what his defensive job is, but at least did his best under Byrom's up-and-under that set up their third (where was Alfei?). Just from the organisational point of view, we need Diamond and Duke back asap.

I totally agree , it's ok making these reflex saves but organising the situation in front of you is arguably a bigger component of the game . The guy has shipped a phenomenal amount of goals since him came in .

If Duke was fit enough to be on the bench, it's difficult to understand why he didn't start, or is he no longer our no 1 keeper.

theres a difference in being bench fit and match fit. if push comes to absolute shove he could have come on, red card/serious injury, and played 20/30 mins but not the whole match from start I suppose

He seems to completely misread the flight of the 2nd goal and dives over the ball as well. I know it easily said, but I'm pretty confident Duke would've stopped that. I'm fairly confident I may have.
