AFC Wimbledon away on Good Friday afternoon, produced their seasons best league gate of 4667, higher than all our 11 guessers guessed! In fact we only had two points scorers within 400 of that figure, Claret Lady was 366 away with 4301, but it was BSCobbler who was "closest" with a guess of 4310. Cheltenham at home was the 49th game of the season, and wth playoff hopes extinghuised a crowd of 4579 turned out. We had 12 guessing at this one, with 10 point scorers, once again though GPC was one who missed out...and big time as it was BSCobbler who guessed closest with 4565 being only 14 away and worth 10 points and the bonus!!

The penultimate game of the season was away at Burton, and a massive crowd (for them) of 5720 turned out to watch. We had 13 guessers, none of whom got within a country mile of that figure!!
But there has to be a winner.....and this game it was tcobb taking the bonus with a guess of 4891.....only 829 away!!!  GPC was second closest....oh how I could have done with that bonus!!

Just as the season spluttered to an end on the pitch, it did the same in this competition! Yes congrats BS Cobblers, pipping GPC at the last shout there, as i watched the results come in these past few days I was certain GPC would power his way to another title.

Just goes to show nothing is certain in this world, as anybody that fancies a flutter will know too well.

Thanks GPC for running, hard to forget the work that can on on behind the scenes on these sort of things.

I am already dreading the results of the first two games this season as i feel i was well off in both.
